Morning everyone, my life feels so busy all of a sudden. Since getting my place with the national autistic society for the London marathon I have now got to 5 miles. Tomorrow I need to do at least 5 and a half to stay on track. I'm also doing strength training, mobility sessions and 2 other shorter runs. I have to take my kids on the bus to school still and pick them up later, so what I do on my long run is run home from the school drop off which is a really good way of doing lots of miles early as we get there at 8:05. Hope you all are doing well x

@Angie Mackrell The collagen absolutely would have had an effect. Progress isn't linear though, you still showed up for yourself even if the result wasn't where you hoped x

@Angie Mackrell Exhausted from giving my dog meds through the night for a few weeks but otherwise upright and facing forward. Was just joking about the creatine being too big for my cupboard 😂 x

Back on my bullshit
First time in an aerial hoop since June for my photoshoot, proofs are back and actually I'm proud as fuck of what I managed (each of these moves had to be held for several minutes.). Performing to a sold out audience beginning of October so the diet needs to tighten back up a bit now the ability to eat is back 💪 Alongside staying consistent at the gym and getting back into the studio setting slowly I'm back on the calisthenics and yoga at home as well. No progress pics, I've been on 2-3 hours sleep a night for over a week with the little man, nobody needs to see that. You can have one of yesterday's invert to pike declines instead snuck in while he slept. (Yes that is a bright pink space hopper in the doorway.)

@Siobhan Keeley Glad it's all coming together! Are you in a better place with work? I am. My dog is stable at the moment so I can get more than 3 hours sleep a night and the cortisol is coming down slowly 😅 Although printing out 380 pages of manuscript in preparation for the 3rd draft of my book might kill me (or the printer) xx

@Siobhan Keeley I think you need to trust your gut on that, you've been pushing for positive change for so long. Time for you to do right by you. 💪 Somehow, it is going incredibly. I pushed to hit a couple of aggressive deadlines (one was day of Dad's funeral 😬) & got it infront of an editor for Hachette in August. She deemed it a 'highly commercially viable novel' and signed off on my structural edits 1st pass (which apparently rarely happens 👀). Those are done, & I'm tearing it apart line by line to tighten everything up. Went to an Author's event in London the other week after my photoshoot & found out that my Writing Coach has also been talking positively about my work behind the scenes 🥹 Here's the beast... Xx (Rachel Salix is my pen name, decided in Nov I didn't want to take my birth name forward into my writing.)

6 Months On...
6 months since we did the BIGG30 reset competition... (No winners 😶🤐😆) 6 months since I met this wonderful group of people who have all played a part in helping me, supporting me, inspiring me and encouraging me throughout 💜📣 6 months of applying what I learned 🤓 6 months of consistency and discipline (not perfection! 😅) 🍽️ 6 months of progressive overload ⚖️🏋️♀️ 6 months of questioning myself and doing it anyway 🧠 6 months of tough times, good times and everything in between and still keeping my promise to myself 🫶 6 months can change your life ❤️ Who knows where we'll be in another 6 months... Keep going 💪

Week 1 progress
I’ve just checked in on my progress and I’m really happy. Scales moving in the right direction, sleeping better and feeling stronger. I can also see results in my progress photos. Weekends are always the toughest to be consistent but we’ve made it 💪🏻🙌🏻👍🏻 Hope you’re all smashing it too - have a great week 🏋️♀️
