Achievement!
I’ve been on the recumbent bike for a few months now (I use it due to lower back problems stopping me from using the usual bike), using it as a warm up or part of a workout cycle, never really doing more than 800m at speed. However, I’ve been challenge myself to improve my endurance. So I worked at 2km, at a constant speed of about 13kmph. Beat my time a couple of times, so moved to 3km. Did that once and found it… ok ish lol.
Today?
I decided the go for 4km. Put the headphones on and shut my eyes, just to zone out. Opened my eyes to find myself at 4.2km so thought, might as well go for 5km! Still that constant speed. And I am knackered but so proud of myself!
