💙 Important Message 💛 (please watch + comment)
This is a short video message about a major mindset shift that we (as a community) need to make: Away from thinking that we HAVE TO drop time or make the podium and instead focus on building strong characters and happy/fulfilled swimmers who do the right things on autopilot. I explain more in the video. Let me know that you've watched the video (vote) and then I'm curious: What's ONE THING that has positively impacted your life since joining Swimpros?? Let's fill the comment section with positivity and real experiences!! 🌱🌿🌴 (Maybe make it our biggest Skool post that we've ever had??!!) Have u seen the video message? Vote and then comment your favorite thing below so others can see it 👇

🍓 Academy Week 5: Do HARD Things [pinned post]
Replay is up in the Classroom. Make sure you comment your answers in this post as you go thru the recording so I know what you're thinking. Much easier to provide feedback!! Look, so far we've covered: ✅ Goal Setting (the in-depth version) ✅ Michael Phelps breathing trick ✅ Visualization ✅ Basic nutrition for swimmers ✅ Desired identity statement ✅ You've gathered A LOT of evidence that supports your new identity 🔥 Keep the momentum going, 5 more weeks until we know who wins a brand new race suit of your choice!!! More and more fire badges are starting to appear I love it!! In today's training we have time for questions to make sure we're not leaving anybody behind. After that, we do a little magic together ok? It's gonna be workshop-style which means I'll ask you a series of questions that you can just answer in the comments. And at the end, you'll all have a massive done-and-ready improvement for this week. - No breakout rooms - No having to speak in front of everyone else ☺️

Meeting
So I had a meeting this weekend and I had to swim a 200 fly. I did 2'54 in the morning in long course (my time in short course is 2'50) and I had to do it again in the afternoon, in final B. And my coach told me that I could do 2'50 if I change a little bit my second 100. The thing is I never did better on my final than on my morning race (or maybe 1 sec better) so I wasn't sure about that but I didn't telle myself it's impossible and put my mind into it, ate well at lunch, took a little nap, drank water every 20 mins, warmed up well... An I actually did it ! (During lunch break I was literally saying "I'm going to do 2'50" every 30 sec 😂, maybe my brain would understand it who knows?) In my opinion 4 seconds between the morning and the afternoon is a lot 😭. So I was the second one in my final, and the first one in my category so I' m a regional chapion at the 200 fly now 😂🥳🥳. And another great thing is my reaction time that was 0.73 in the morning and 0.54 in the afternoon (I rlly wanted to do 2'50). So now my next objective is 2'37...
