The US embassy in Norway should be informed, and ideally request Norwegian authorities to answer why Norwegian police can harass a US citizen in an unlawful manner. Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib visited Norway very recently, and met with (my favorite bonafide) Norwegian Jew, Henrick Beckheim, in an event broadly defined as a gathering for our democracy (Arendalsuka). But Norwegian cops began harassing both, with what is actually unlawful conduct by cops in Norway, and sadly far from the first time I've seen this. Norwegian Jews generally are frustrated of the cops failure to do anything else, but to shelve all cases that are specifically tied towards the kingdom's Jews, but it's surprising that they'd take this to US citizens, and notably one that has a US-Palestine pin visibly on his chest. There was a breaking news story on Tuesday that was more of a brief blip on the radar of the mainstream media ... but it's one that should be getting far more attention than it is. On Tuesday (8/17/2026), the US Department of Justice announced that 17 Iranians connected with the Mabna Institute have been charged with having conducted cyber theft on behalf of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. According to prosecutors, these Islamic Regime hackers have been hacking and stealing intellectual property for the Islamic Regime since at least 2013. These guys have allegedly been carrying out cyber theft with multiple intrusions targeting the computer systems of 144 US Universities, 178 foreign Universities, at least 42 US based private sector companies, and at least 11 foreign private sector companies. The DOJ says that the group has stolen at least 31 terabytes of information, having targeted the accounts of over 100,000 professors around the world. They were able to successfully compromise the email accounts of over 8,000 professors, stealing untold riches associated with the intellectual property of these professors across all fields of research and academic disciplines. For the Benny Johnsons, the Tucker Carlsons, the Joe Kents, and countless other Americans who say that Make America Great Again means being embracing Isolationism and focusing on enacting "America Only" domestic policies within US borders alone ... who say "Who cares what happens in Iran and the rest of the world?" ... who say that the US shouldn't be involved in Iran because - the Islamic Regime is not actually threat to the United States and the rest of the world ... this story is clear evidence that most certainly shows otherwise.
