Aryan) or Iranic languages are a branch of the Indo-Iranian languages in the Indo-European language family that are spoken natively by the Iranian peoples (i.e. Aryan Peoples), mainly in the Iranian Plateau (i.e. Aryan Plateau). The Iranian languages are grouped in three stages: Ancient Iranian (until 400 BCE), Middle Iranian (400 BCE – 900 CE) and New Iranian (since 900 CE). The two directly attested Ancient Iranian languages are Old Persian (From the Achaemenid Dynasty of Iran at the time of it's 2nd Empire) and Avestan (the language of the Zoroastran Holy Book Avesta). From the Middle Iranian languages, the better understood and recorded ones are Middle Persian (From the Sassanian Dynasty of Iran at the time of it's 4th Empire), Parthian (From the Arsacid Dynasty of Iran at the time of its 3rd Empire), and Bactrian (From the Kushan and Hephthalite Empires). @Rebecca Solomon Absolutely the closer it gets to modernity the similarities get closer between Middle Iranian and Modern Iranian whereas the Ancient Iranian and Proto Indo-Iranian languages are not as similar comparatively

@Joseph Dabby You welcome friend 🙏💯 Exactly Urshalim (Jerusalem) kept it's name throughout history no matter whom occupied it and it's great to have it back in the hands of it's true owners who are the Jews (aka the Israelites) However it must be said that Urshalim is not the only city that maintained it's proper native name because we have many cities in the Iranian Civilization (i.e. Aryan Civilization) that this applies to as well because many foreign forces have occupied Iran (i.e. Aryana) throughout it's history as well like Macedonians, Arabs, Turks, Mongols and the IRGC

Let's hope that is the case because the people of Arran have been lied to about who they actually are since Russia separated it from Iran when it was under the Qatar Dynasty 200 years ago and the brainwashing of the inhabitants of Arran began under the Soviet Union with the Pan-Turks who were chosen by the communists to control this territory ever since then

Similarly we Iranians can be considered as culturally Zoroastrian because we celebrate all the Zoroastrian holidays even though we overwhelmingly subscribe to Atheism and Agnosticism thus have no belief in God at all even our Deists who believe in God but don't subscribe to any religion also celebrate Zoroastrian holidays despite not adhering to any religious rules in their personal lives This is because we Iranians are culturally Zoroastrians even though we live completely Atheist, Secular and Non-Religous lifestyles and lives period The same can even be said of Japan where its population is culturally Shinto but not necessarily religiously Shinto meaning they will uphold their native Shinto Tradition even if they personally may not believe it thus only using Shinto holidays for secular purposes as well

@Ezekiel Hirshhorn I understand that Hebrew comes-off bizzare whenever it's words get written in Latin format because whoever it was that came up with it clearly never paid much attention or put much thought to the fact that the slogan "Am Israel Chai" ought to be written as "Am Israel Khai" to avoid confusing "Chai" with the Indo-European (i.e. Iranian, Slavic and Hindi) term for "Tea" which is "Chāi" since Hebrew is a Semitic language after all Other examples of it is that the female Hebrew name "Rachel" ought to be written as "Rākhel" and the male Hebrew name "Mordechai" ought to be written as "Mordekhāi" since Latin is an Indo-European languages which instructs us to pronounce the "ch" sound of words the same way we pronounce words like "Chat" or names like "Charles" therefore Hebrew when it comes to writing it's words in Latin format ought to have followed the footsteps of the Iranian Languages by using "kh" instead that would have kept the original Hebrew pronunciation intact even when it's written in Latin that is why we Iranians write the name of "Khayyām" our famous Classic Poet and Mathematician this way and not "Chayyām" otherwise it would have also came across as bizzare

@Ezekiel Hirshhorn Awesome I'm glad I was informative of the Hebrew language and that it verifies that your mom was absolutely correct when it comes to the actual authentic original spelling of your name "Yekhezkel" and that the other people who questioned it had no idea what they were talking about because they have unfortunately fallen into the trap of westernizing the Hebrew language to the point it loses touch with the authentic connections from it's actual eastern indeginous Hebrew origins

@Lucy Pseudonym No Persia is the foreign name for the Homeland Reza Shah Pahlavi corrected the world by pressuring them justifiably to call the Homeland by it's actual original native name Iran for a reason in 1935 otherwise foreigners would have still called it by it's wrong name Persia because they used Hellenic and Abrahamic sources in identifying the Homeland and not what actually needed to be done which is looking at the Zoroastran Holy Book Avesta itself which mentions the name of the Homeland as "Airyānam" which is Iran in its ancient form and even the Shāhnāmeh mentions the Homeland as "Irān" as well this is because in the entire history of the Homeland the native inhabitants of it always called it "Iran" (Not "Persia") which foreigners were not curious enough to understand that they were calling the Homeland wrongly as "Persia" (of "Pārs") which is only the name of a southern Iranian province and not the whole Homeland itself which was always called "Irān" by its own inhabitants
