Question about Meeting Time in Boise
What time is the gathering tomorrow (Tuesday, June 16th) at Julia Davis Park in Boise? Thank you!
Boise Meet Up #1
Had a blast at the park in Boise tonight! Such cool park and such great people. Thanks to everyone that made it out! @Debbie Johnson @Hilary Johnson @Erik Messal taught rope while I did a mace class. Was so cool to have so many people out there moving at once. We might have even got a few more people to join that came by to check it out while walking by. Hope we can get the Boise community to grow even more.

Festival Weekend Recap
We had such a great time at the festival! Boise is beautiful and the people were amazing. Everyone we met was so friendly, encouraging, and excited to try something new. All the performances were awesome to watch too. I will attach a few pics and videos here but hopefully Erik will post some because I really did a bad job of getting shots 🤣 We got to do a ton of demos with the ropes and maces, and it was so much fun getting people to try our tools. We even got some new members, so welcome to UFF! Erik had an amazing solo music performance and performed Toltec on stage. He really is a man of many talents! Then Erik and I performed some mace and rope on stage together. The first time, the phone playing the audio overheated so we cut the performance short, but the second time everything went off without a hitch. For our first time doing it, I’d say it went pretty well! It was really fun practicing for it, and then getting to do it on stage without messing it up too much felt like a pretty great payoff. Thanks again to everyone who came by, tried something out, cheered us on, or joined the community. It was a great weekend!
Festival Weekend Recap
Drills of the Week!
I added a new course in the Classroom called Unconventional Drill of the Week. This is a new thing I’m starting where I’ll be posting a short drill each week that you can practice at home. I’ll be jumping between mace, rope, and clubs, so the drills will vary a bit in style and difficulty. These will somewhat assume that you’ve already gone through the basics courses, but I’ll still do my best to break things down in a way that everyone can approach. My goal is to post a new drill every Monday. Each drill will stay up for a couple of weeks, then get archived for paid members, so there will always be two free drills available. I’m going to try to keep each video short, around 5 minutes or less. This first one went a little over, but I’ll get better at keeping them tight. I also included a link to the interval timer workout, so if you want to turn the drill into a quick workout, it’s set up as a nice 15-minute session. I’m still workshopping the name, so if you have any better ideas than Unconventional Drill of the Week, let me know! Monday Movement Drills maybe?? Anyway Check it out! https://www.skool.com/la-unconventional-fitness-9114/classroom/16404ed5?md=b3bcb4a7a8ab4d7fb9bcaee19591e079

Big news!
I've got some exciting news. Our first-ever branded flow rope, The Blade, is officially ready! This is our first UFF rope, and it looks and feels great, if I do say so myself. Check out the pics below! We’re selling them for $40, and if you want one, I can bring it to the park. You can also order through the online shop with shipping, local delivery, or pickup. Check it out here:https://unconventionalfitnessandflow.square.site/ Perfect timing too, because I just published the Rope Flow 101 course in the Classroom tab. I’ll still be adding a couple more videos and posting the final drills, but it’s already a solid starting point with everything you need to start moving confidently with a rope. Even if you’re not looking to buy a rope or learn rope flow right now, I’d really appreciate it if you poked around the course and the shop. If you notice any typos, broken links, confusing parts, or anything that feels off, let me know. I’m hoping we’ll have more people checking this out after the festival next month, so any feedback now would be a huge help. If you're a local I hope to see you in the park on Sunday at 10 for mace flow!
