If you've heard me talk about mace or rope flow, you've probably heard me say that one of my favorite parts is when a move just won’t work... until one day something clicks and you finally unlock it. It’s such a great feeling. It’s even cooler getting to see that happen for someone else while teaching. Well today, after recording some of the Rope Flow 101 course for Skool, I decided to work on a move called The Cheetador that I haven’t been able to fully get. I still had my mic on and was kind of in teacher mode, but I really just planned on watching the footage back to figure out what my hands were doing wrong. Then suddenly, after changing directions, it just clicked. And I caught the whole unlock moment on camera! I’ve never had that happen before. Anyway, thought I’d share. If you’re stuck on something, don’t give up on it. It also really helps to watch yourself back on video or use a mirror. Sometimes you’re way closer than you think. Have a great weekend! We’ll be back in the park next weekend on the 24th.
