Redeeming myself with photos this time.
Cold- seared a NZ King Salmon fillet on a stainless steel pan low and slow (fail moment was when I shook the pan to check if the skin’s done, and the flesh separated from the skin 🤦🏻♂️), rendering all that salmon oil out, then mixing it with barilla pomodoro tomato sauce and tossing penne pasta in it.
With all that salmon oil, no need for additional cooking oil! But minus points for some of the skin still stuck on the pan…
Made a baby spinach “banchan” with soy sauce, a tiny bit of sesame oil & a pinch of sugar, and threw in some cherry tomatoes for myself.
Around 60g of carbs, 29g of fat, and 30g of protein for me. Wife did not want cherry tomatoes while daughter did not want the spinach 🙄 (but still we finished it all).
