When in doubt: build the PERFECT PLATE ✅
These are the meals I build for my daughter.
A good balance of:
- protein
- green veggies
- starchy carbs
- fibrous and nutrient-dense fruits
- rice when she feels like it
In my humble opinion: we adults should be eating the same way as our children, just smaller portions!
(Most of the time)
Don't get me wrong -- she doesn't clean the plate EVERY meal.
But we've implemented a few key strategies that helps her eat her full meals rather than snacking throughout the day.
