Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. 🔎 I thought this 100/100 About Page score was a mistake
This post is part of the Skool Discovery & Growth Boost Tips Series. My goal is simple - help Skool group owners get found and turn more visitors into members. -- When I first saw 100/100 on @Melanie Naumann Story-First Songwriting audit, my first reaction was not celebration. It was: “Something must be wrong.” Across hundreds of DFY and DIY About Page Audits (APA), very few pages have even come close to 80/100. So I checked the About Page again. Then the supporting visuals. Then every Copy and Visual criterion. I also double-checked the scoring logic inside the app to make sure the result wasn’t caused by an error. It wasn’t. Melanie’s page clearly covered all 15 areas currently measured by 🐬 APA: ✅ 60/60 for Copy ✅ 40/40 for Visuals Her audience is immediately clear. The frustration of guessing, getting stuck, and doubting whether the lyrics are good enough is easy to recognize. The final outcome is specific. Her Story-First Songwriting method explains how members move from ideas to music-ready lyrics. Her experience, deliverables, trial, pricing, and next step are all visible. The visuals continue the same story too. They show: ✅ the before-and-after journey ✅ the structured method ✅ what exists inside the Classroom ✅ a real member result ✅ the resources and support members receive ✅ a clear reason to take the next step But this needs an important clarification. 100/100 does not mean there is nothing left to improve. It means I could not find a missing foundation across the 15 things 🐬 APA currently checks. And I apply the same thinking to the audit itself. APA is not a finished product sitting on a shelf. I review every result, question anything that feels unusual, and improve the system as I learn from more real About Pages. What impressed me most is that Melanie’s result was not accidental. She has spent years developing the expertise behind the offer and continued refining how that value is presented.

Your Skool Could Use a Little FAFO…
I’m officially opening up a few spots to come hang out inside established SKOOL communities as a guest speaker… although “speaker” feels a little generous considering I’m much more likely to show up, ask a ridiculous number of questions, give real examples, and turn the whole thing into a conversation 🤷🏻‍♀️ The stuff I can come talk about lives mostly in the world of building a business that actually works for the person running it… community engagement, creating content people give a shit about, storytelling, offers, messaging, getting people to participate instead of lurk forever, taking action instead of collecting more information, building a personal brand, and generally making business feel a lot less like following someone else’s instruction manual. And none of it is me showing up to regurgitate the same generic business advice your people have already heard a bajillion times 😉 I don’t do copy and paste talks. I don’t have one presentation sitting on my laptop that gets trotted out every time someone hands me a microphone. We figure out what your audience actually needs, what they’re getting stuck on, and what would be useful for them… then I build the conversation around that. That could be a workshop, Q&A, training, hot seats, discussion, or some slightly unhinged combination of the above. For context, I’ve built two community based businesses to six figures, spent nine months as a paid SKOOL creator, and recently spoke at Skool Scale Camp about community engagement and how the way we design our spaces affects whether people actually participate in them. There’s no cost for me to come in 🦄 There is one caveat… your community needs to be established and active enough for this to make sense. If nobody currently shows up for live events, bringing in a guest speaker probably isn’t the magic spell that fixes that 😅 So I’m being a little picky about where I do these. If you run an established SKOOL community with an active audience and want to see if there’s a topic or format that would be useful for your people, DM me and we can figure out whether it’s a good fit.
