It seems like a stupid question, doesn't it? Of course, you have to eat. We all have to eat. It's just part of our lives. But when and how we do it makes a huge difference. It can either be a drain on us physically and mentally, or it can be something that energizes us and lifts us up. Think about takeout, for instance. You're busy, you're hustling, you don't have time to make food, so you rely on takeout. You're focusing on health and wellness, going to the gym, drinking all your water, and ordering that healthy takeout food to sustain you. Except the healthy takeout food is not quite as healthy as you think. Loaded with hidden salt, sugar, and fat, it looks and sounds healthy, but it's not. Perfect for that guy who wants to have a dad bod. Alternatively, think about cooking a meal at home. You have to buy the food and take time from your busy schedule to prepare it, or maybe you have someone who does it for you. You know they're happy to do it because they support you in your business. But maybe it's a chore for them too, and a little bit of resentment grows. So what if... You get to prepare healthier meals, you get to incorporate more variety into your diet, and you get to share that time intentionally with your partner. All of a sudden, you're eating better, they appreciate the help, but most importantly, you both benefit from more connection. Food is crucial to our existence, but it's much more than a physiological need. Food is present for every major event in our lives. It's there for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, you name it. Let food be part of your business as well. Cultivate that relationship as the asset that it is, and do it through food. It's the true multitasker.
