I've been thinking about this a lot lately, how heroes are the ones that show up unexpectedly. When they do show up, we wonder how we didn't notice them before. I mean, they were right there the whole time, we just didn't see them. That's you. You're the hero. You're the one who swoops in to help and people are like, "Wow, where did you just come from?! You have exactly what I've been looking for!" Follow me here for a sec. The heroes are usually like Batman. Swoop in, change lives, and then we don't really hear from them again. But what if, what if, you could swoop in and stay? You know you have something amazing. You have gifts, talents, and you're playing small by not putting you all the way out-there to be seen. Maybe you're hiding because you think there's integrity in staying humble. Maybe you're not wanting to seem pushy, salesy, gross. Maybe you're wondering if you're enough. Whatever story you have going on, people are waiting for you. They're waiting for the answers only you have. Sure, you can choose to believe in competition. Sure, you can choose to believe that others can do it better than you. Or... You can choose to believe that there's no such thing as competition. You can choose to believe that no one else is YOU. What if you risked being you? Fully. Completely. Oh, and I can already hear the mental chatter... All the experts telling you you're doing it wrong. All the experts said their strategy is the only right one. All the experts must be more right than you. You can spend thousands more outsourcing your authority. Or, you can choose to be you. So what kind of hero do you want to be? The one who swoops in and stays? Or the one who paints the S on an old t-shirt and doesn't own their own superpower? What if you were to be all-of-you and build your business the way only YOU can? More mental chatter... Omg where do I start?! How do I get rid of what all the experts said and tune into me? How do I risk what I've done so far? I've already invested so much money, it's going to be wasted...
