Like… properly terrified… not a little bit nervous… not a mild wobble… full on lying awake in my jungle going oh my dog what are people gonna think… Because when I made the decision to merge MYM (Magnetise your message)… my membership of TWO YEARS… into THE BACKROOM... my brain went on an absolutely huge breakdown, spiral...wtf mode They're gonna think you gave up… They're gonna think you couldn't make it work… They're gonna quietly judge you and say absolutely nothing to your face… Your credibility is fcked Mimi… absolute TOAST… And here's the bit that makes me cringe the most if I'm really honest with you… I preach this stuff. EVERY. SINGLE. DAMN. WEEK. Clarity. Focus. Don't spread yourself thin. Pick your damn lane. Go all in ffs. Do the thing you keep telling yourself you'll do… I literally build whole badass sessions around this… And there I was… running two communities… two offers… two calendars… two of absolutely everything… and six fricken tiers, wondering why neither felt quite right, something was off but I could never put my finger on it… telling everyone else to simplify while quietly doing the complete opposite… The audacity of me tbf 😂 So yeah… I finally did the thing… Not because it was easy… it wasn't… not even slightly… but because it was RIGHT… and because I was done being the person who talks about walking the walk whilst doing a very convincing impression of someone who isn't… And you know what happened when I finally did it… The comments started coming in… "Badass front runner… I am inspired watching your journey" 🔥 "You being brave enough to do this made me look at what I need to let go of" 🥹 "This is huge for you… you're really coming back to simplicity again" 🖤 "Aww Mimi… I can feel this for you… you pour everything into your communities" 🫶 "Through fire and ice… it will come out nice" 🔥 (obsessed with this ) Oh my dog… 🥹🥹🥹 All that fear… all that noise… all that story I was running in my head about what everyone would think…

I’m finally feeling good about leveraging social media to draw people into Skool, and welcome them into my community. Making reels is WAY HARDER than the good ones make it look! So I am building them in the realest way possible, and sharing how I feel about making them along the way. This morning I was able to navigate challenges around choosing music, making a “trial” reel, and even finding where it exists within the app, before its officially ready to post. At the end of the day, what matters most to me is that my profile is filled with messages and content that express all aspects of ME. 2022… Just come out the other side of a breakup… everything fallen apart… rebuilding life and business from scratch… sitting there going right… WHO THE EF AM I and what do I actually stand for now… And I wrote two words down. 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗹. (might ring a bell to some of you reading this?) That was it. That was everything. Simple. Aligned. Real. No overcomplicating stuff that doesn't need to be complicated. Totes everything I wanted my whole world to feel like, inside and out And then somewhere between then and now… oh my dog… I kinda often forgot about it 🙄 Because what I THOUGHT I was doing was simplifying FOR everybody… This space is for these people… that space is for those people… this live is for this group… that session is for that group… you want messaging go here… you want community go there… I really thought I was being BIG TIME helpful … like big time… What I was actually doing was creating absolute mayhem confusion, and calling it structure People were sometimes messaging me going… which group do I put this in… which live should I join… I want both but now I feel split… Yeah. And you should have seen the struggle trying to do the calendar of sessions each week for two different places… oooffff the confusion in my mind That's… totes not simplicity, is it Mimi… 😬 Hands up. Should have done this twelve months sooner. I was holding on out of fear… And now that I've finally let go… I feel so freaking aligned it's almost annoying how long I waited tbf…pfffttt... No regrets though. Done is done. Learned everything I needed to learn from it. But here's the thing I'm tattooing on my brain going forward… When something feels complicated… it usually is.
