3 Amazing Live Opportunities This Week - Don't Miss Out
I have some great announcements about new opportunities this week. 1. I'm super excited that our monthly drop-in this month (the WATERCOOLER) is now open to ALL MEMBERS! And not only that, but a VIP Classifieds members is going to host each of the hours so that there will always be someone there for you to talk to - how cool is that?!?!?! The host and theme for each hour will be posted tomorrow. The WATERCOOLER takes place on Friday. 2. Before the WATERCOOLER drop-in, @Faith Adebayo (moderator) and I will be hosting an onboarding session for any member who wants to know about the Classifieds, how it works, and how to make the most out of it. Think Skool News but CLASSIFIEDS edition and you get to participate too! 3. Tonight, @Kevin Gebert will be hosting the Late Edition of the PERSONALS. This is for premium members who want to have an opportunity to get to know each other better and share more about their communities face-to-face. It's a great opportunity for members who are not in American time zones! Check out the calendar for the times in your time zone.

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! šŸ˜‰ This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.

Call! DON'T TEXT!
šŸ“ž Call, Don’t Text We’ve gotten way too comfortable living inside little bubbles of text messages. ā€œThinking of you.ā€ ā€œHope you’re good.ā€ ā€œLet’s catch up soon.ā€ And then… nothing. That silence after a text? That dead space? If someone’s struggling, that doesn’t feel neutral—it feels like a gut punch. Because here’s the truth: When someone is hurting, they don’t need a notification… They need a voice. I’ve been on both sides of this. There were times I was going through it—really going through it—and people who I thought would show up… didn’t. I remember one night after my divorce, two people who said they’d be there both canceled. Same night. Bad excuses. And you sit there like… ā€œAlright. I guess it’s just me tonight.ā€ That sticks with you. Not because they were bad people—but because in that moment, what I needed wasn’t a message. I needed a human being. šŸ”„ A Call Changes Everything When you call someone, you’re saying: ā€œYou matter enough for my time.ā€ ā€œI’m here with you, not just checking a box.ā€ ā€œYou’re not alone right now.ā€ They hear your tone. They feel your presence. They know you didn’t just fire off a quick text between other things. That matters more than you think. And no—you don’t need to have the answers. You don’t need to fix their life. Half the time, just being there is the fix. šŸ¤ Service Heals Both Sides Here’s something I’ve learned the hard way: When your own life feels like it’s spinning… Go help someone else. Call someone who’s struggling. Check in. Stay on the phone. Listen. It takes the edge off your own chaos. It grounds you. It reminds you who you are. That’s part of what Rise Up a Rockstar is all about— We don’t just rise alone. We rise by lifting others. šŸ‘Š Especially for the Guys Men—we’ve got to be better at this. We’re not great at asking for help. And honestly? We’re not always great at showing up either. The women in our lives—friends, sisters, partners—they tend to check in, gather around, support, talk things through. They show up. We need to take a page from that.

Stop Letting Injuries Derail Your Weight Loss šŸ‹ļøā€ā™‚ļøšŸ”„
Why Small Injuries Keep Showing Up āš ļø A lot of people trying to lose weight run into the same frustrating pattern. Your knee starts bothering you. Then it heals… and suddenly your shoulder flares up. Then your elbow starts talking to you. Then your lower back gets tight. It can feel like your body is constantly one step away from another injury. Most people assume this is just part of training or that it will fix itself over time. The reality is that recurring injuries are usually a systems problem, not just a random pain problem. If you want to stay consistent in the gym — which is critical for long-term weight loss and fitness transformation — you need to address the bigger picture. There are three pillars that solve this. 1ļøāƒ£ Reset the System šŸ”„ Sometimes the most productive move is not pushing harder. When multiple joints keep flaring up, your body may simply be carrying too much accumulated fatigue. A short reset allows your body to calm down and re-establish a healthy baseline. A proper reset helps: āœ… Reduce inflammation āœ… Let the nervous system recover āœ… Stop compensation patterns āœ… Improve movement quality This usually means 1–2 weeks of lower intensity training, not quitting entirely. During that time, pay attention to: • Movement quality • Where pain shows up • Strength imbalances • Mobility limitations Think of this phase as recalibrating the system, not losing progress. 2ļøāƒ£ Structure Your Training šŸ“Š One of the biggest mistakes people make in the gym is training hard without structure. Most people train the same way week after week: Same effort. Same intensity. Same exercises. Over time, that creates overuse and fatigue. Smart training rotates through phases like: šŸ”„ Volume accumulation šŸ’Ŗ Hypertrophy (muscle building) šŸ‹ļø Strength development All three are important — the difference is the dosage and timing. A simple cycle looks like this: Train → gradually increase intensity → approach fatigue → deload → repeat. This allows your body to adapt and grow stronger instead of constantly breaking down.
