#MetricsMonday December 22
Some of you heard about my stressful Santa situation in our last PERSONALS meet up. Well, the snow forecast has not gotten better, and the gifts are still at my parents, so we've made a last minute decision to split up. The kids and I will go tomorrow morning, and my husband will join us later in the day (kennel issues for the dog and roadworthy vehicles are another consideration...). That means that I am madly packing, wrapping, cleaning, and picking up after two kids who are tearing the house apart faster than I can put it together so that we can leave a day early. Long story not so short, Metrics Monday will be back in the new year. As we close in on 888 members, I am so thankful for each and every one of you, and I hope you all have a restful, peaceful, and fun holiday season with those you love. Some of us spoke quietly about a goal to reach 1000 members by the end of the year. It's not totally out of the question, and all your lovely referrals have been inching us closer and closer every day! I will be online over the holidays as family commitments permit, and I look forward to seeing what you share here. I have a few big things happening at the beginning of the year that you will want to watch out for. 😉 Talk soon!

The CLASSIFIEDS Premium Tier - Everything You Need to Know!
If you are already on the Premium tier and want to know how to make the most of it, or are thinking about upgrading, here is everything you need to know... ⭐️ 🗞️ In the Standard tier, you can post in the community once a day in any category (except for days with a hashtag prompt, then you get an extra post!). There are two kinds of acceptable community posts: "anything" promoting your Skool group, or offers that are free (freebies, free workshops, podcast promotions, your own YouTube channel promotions). You can see the list of categories in the How It Works pinned post. These "rules" are for both standard and premium members. 🌟 🗞️ Now for the additional benefits for Premium members: 1. Premium members are allowed to put an "ad" in the classroom to advertise anything they want - free or paid. The ad stays up for as long as they are a premium member. Ads rotate weekly. 📰 You can place your ad by creating a draft course in your own community and then copying the course key and sending it to me to copy into the Classifieds. Course keys can be found by going to the thumbnail of the course in your classroom and clicking on the three dots in the top right corner. 2. Premium members also have access to all live events on the calendar. This includes meetups twice a month (called the PERSONALS) and open drop-ins once a month. 📆 The meetups are structured and focus on improving your visibility as well as helping you make connections and foster collaboration. 3. Premium members also have the opportunity to host their own free masterclass for all members on the CLASSIFIEDS calendar. This gives you the chance to provide value to the members and then pitch your group or product at the end. 💵 In order to qualify to host a masterclass, you have to first take my How to Teach a High-Value, High-Converting Masterclass workshop ($27). The next one is being offered on January 6th with doors opening for registration January 2nd. After taking the prerequisite workshop, the first masterclass you offer is of no charge. Subsequent masterclasses that you would like to offer will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.

⚙️ Automation is the last thing you need to worry about
Automation is awesome, but a lot of people invest on it way too early instead of focusing on the stuff that really matters in the early stages. There are a lot of things you need to figure our before you can get any return of investment from automation. It only makes sense to invest on fancy automation solutions once you have a solid process and a decent number of audience/members/clients. Here is a detailed breakdown on what you need to worry about at each stage of your online business building and what are the priorities at each one. 1. Getting started 🏃‍♀️: - The first thing you need to figure out is what your business is about, what problems it solves and who is going to benefit from it. - Don't be in a hurry to figure things out. Gather feedback, ask for help, research what people really are asking for and be ready to reinvent yourself as many times as necessary. - At this stage it makes more sense investing on consulting from experts than on fancy tools and contractors to set them up. A lot of people make the mistake of investing in tech before doing a proper market research and establishing their brand accordingly. 2. Establish your online presence 🤝 - After you have a solid plan on what your business is going to be you should figure out where your potential clients hang out. Based on that you create your online presence. We got Skool, Facebook, Reddit, LinkedIn, freelancing websites, job posting pages and many other places to establish our presence. Create your profiles/communities/pages in those and start conecting. - We can also count our own private websites for that. Having your own website not only gives you autonomy to present your brand the exact way you want but also gives you credibility. Having an oficial registered business with a physical location on Google Maps on top of that also goes a long way on increasing your visibility and credibility. - Having an online presence includes both having our own pages in several places and also interacting with people in big pages and communities. Hang out at subreddits, facebook groups, communities, support forums and any other place where your people are. Don't only self promote, but help people, teach something, deliver value. I made an incredible live event on @Nick Nebelsky 's community going over that on detail.

For Men Who Are Done Pretending Everything's Fine
A few years ago, I disappeared. I suffered a system collapse. Depression, PTSD, panic attacks. I wasn't going to survive another year on the path I was on, and I knew it. So I isolated myself. On purpose. Pulling back from everything that wasn't essential and spent that time learning how my brain actually worked. It wasn't quick. It wasn't clean. But it worked. That isolation gave me the space to figure out I wasn't broken. Just running faulty software that needed a complete reset. I rebuilt. One step at a time. And now I help other men do the same. Phoenix Kaizen is for men who might be hitting system collapse as well. Stress, declining health, struggling relationships, feeling like your life is set in stone. If you're a father feeling disconnected or a guy who knows something has to change, this is where you start. No hustle culture. No pandering. Just practical tools and strategies to rewire your brain to repair a damaged life. Join Phoenix Kaizen and get access to the exact tools I used to climb out. Sometimes you have to step back to rebuild. No shame in that. www.phoenixkaizen.org
