There's something very special happening on Wednesday!
On April 22, the VIP members of the CLASSIFIEDS will be hosting a series of drop-in coffee chats over the course of 7 hours!!! This event is open to EVERYONE! This is called the WATER COOLER, and you can think about it just like you would the water cooler at an office - drop in when you have a few spare minutes in your day, catch up with what everyone is chatting about, and then come back as many times as you want throughout the day. 🤗 Each hour will have a different theme chosen by the host. Fun, right??? 🎉 Check out the schedule below, mark it on your calendar, and then show up to make connections, have a great conversation, and maybe even start a new friendship. 😉 First Hour: @Traci Poe of the Public Speakers Growth Hub - "It's In The Bag" (show up and have some fun) Second Hour: @Jing Wang of Altus Millionaire Club - Myths vs. Mastery - Self-Directed Roth Third Hour: @Diana Frank of Unfair Advantage - Authority & Visibility Fourth Hour: @Sybil Hall of Income Without Burnout - Meet & Greet Collabing with Skool Owners Fifth Hour: @Kevin Gebert of Moolavie Trio - The 12 - Your Voice Board of Directors Sixth Hour: @Sondra Verva of Amplif-AI Your Business - AI Magic - coffee chat Seventh Hour: @Mimi Ramsey of The Backroom | Say The Thing! - Say the Thing... HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

The CLASSIFIEDS Premium Tier - Everything You Need to Know!
If you are already on the Premium tier and want to know how to make the most of it, or are thinking about upgrading, here is everything you need to know... ⭐️ 🗞️ In the Standard tier, you can post in the community once a day in any category (except for days with a hashtag prompt, then you get an extra post!). There are two kinds of acceptable community posts: "anything" promoting your Skool group, or offers that are free (freebies, free workshops, podcast promotions, your own YouTube channel promotions). You can see the list of categories in the How It Works pinned post. These "rules" are for both standard and premium members. 🌟 🗞️ Now for the additional benefits for Premium members ($3/month or $33/year) 1. Premium members are allowed to put an "ad" in the classroom to advertise anything they want - free or paid. The ad stays up for as long as they are a premium member. Ads rotate weekly. 📰 You can place your ad by creating a draft course in your own community and then copying the course key and sending it to me to copy into the Classifieds. Course keys can be found by going to the thumbnail of the course in your classroom and clicking on the three dots in the top right corner. 2. Premium members also have access to all live events on the calendar. This includes meetups twice a month (called the PERSONALS) and open drop-ins once a month. 📆 The meetups are structured and focus on improving your visibility as well as helping you make connections and foster collaboration. 3. Premium members also have the opportunity to host their own free masterclass for all members on the CLASSIFIEDS calendar. This gives you the chance to provide value to the members and then pitch your group or product at the end. 💵 In order to qualify to host a masterclass, you have to first take my How to Teach a High-Value, High-Converting Masterclass workshop ($27). The next one is being offered on May 12 with doors opening for registration May 9th.. After taking the prerequisite workshop, the first masterclass you offer is of no charge. Subsequent masterclasses that you would like to offer will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.

The quiet reason most Skool communities stall inside ninety days
Most people who start a Skool community treat it like a membership site. They build the classroom, write the welcome post, set the price, and wait. When growth stalls, the instinct is to add more - more content, more modules, more posts, more pressure on the algorithm. The problem is almost never content volume. The problem is that nobody is being sent there. A Skool community is not a destination people stumble into. It is a decision someone makes after they have already decided they trust you. That trust has to be built somewhere else first. For most professionals over forty, that somewhere is a YouTube channel answering the exact questions their ideal member is typing into the search bar. Not trending topics. Not broad appeal videos. Specific problems, specific solutions, one video at a time. The communities that grow steadily are the ones where the owner treats YouTube as the front door and Skool as the living room. The video earns the click. The community earns the stay. When that order gets reversed, when the community is expected to do the work of attracting strangers, growth flattens and the owner burns out trying to post their way out of it. If this is the pattern you are recognising in your own community, this is what we work on inside The Content Revenue Lab. https://tinyurl.com/TheContentRevenueLab Des Dreckett - The Content Revenue Lab
