Halfway through the year is the perfect time to pause—to notice what's working, what isn't, and where you'd love to head next.
I created this simple reflection exercise for my Plant Positive community, and I thought it might be helpful for you too. I'm including the PDF below if you'd like to work through it at your own pace. 💚 1. Empty your heart and head. Set a timer for 10–20 minutes and write. Let it pour out. Frustrations, hopes, guilt, dreams, confusion—all of it. Get it onto paper.
💚 2. Revisit what you wanted 6 months ago. What were your intentions? (Maybe they weren't goals. Maybe it was a feeling—ease, joy, consistency or freedom.)
💚 3. What actually happened? No judgment—just curiosity. What did you follow through on? What fell away?
💚 4. Gently assess. What helped you succeed? What held you back?
💚 5. Dream big—again. What would the next six months look like if you stayed aligned with your values, honoured your energy, and kept moving forward with compassion?
💚 6. Prioritise with purpose. Which one or two goals matter most? Which ones excite you and would have the greatest positive impact on the life you want to be living?
💚 7. Identity check-in. Who are you becoming? What kind of person consistently shows up for these goals—even when it's uncomfortable or inconvenient?
💚 8. Build your support system. What routines, reminders, or people could make these goals feel simpler and more sustainable?
💚 9. Plan for the hard days. What will you do when motivation dips or life gets messy? (Remember: consistency beats perfection.)
💚 10. Take one aligned action today. A walk. A batch cook. A journal entry. A message to a friend. Small actions create momentum.
✏️ Journal prompt: "What do I notice when I compare what I wanted six months ago with what actually happened?"
Here's to a second half of 2026 that's intentional, meaningful, and filled with small actions that add up.
🌱 And if you're plant-powered or simply plant-curious and looking for practical coaching, recipes, accountability, and a genuinely supportive community, I'd love to welcome you into Plant Positive.
Take a look around, join the conversations, and see if it feels like home. 💚
