#Throwback Thursdays - How it all began in the LIFEsurfers...

You might wonder why there is two of us owners of the LIFEsurfers.

Well, let me take you back 27 years, to a warm September morning, into the city beautiful city of Heidelberg in Germany...

This was the day, we met - we, that is Chris Brandwein and Sandra Fehsenfeld, two laboratory research technicians at the German Cancer Research Centre. And we've been friends ever since, even after Chris switching to psychological research in 2002 and Sandra moving to Winnipeg, Canada in 2011 to pursue a PhD in Marine Biology.

Fast forward to April 2025, when we were introduced to Skool by a common friend, and Chris had the idea to open a Skool to introduce analytical, sciency-thinking and/or -interested minds to a world of intuition and magic. And so, she asked Sandra who was equally excited to embark on that mission and the LIFEsurfers were born!

So here we are: 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (like nervous system regulation), with 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 (like Reiki), with 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 (like Human Design) and 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥s (like guided meditations and processes) to ride the waves of Life.

We offer to guide everyone who believes that there must be 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 on the hamster wheel of constantly performing a way to infuse their lives with more joy, fulfillment and their authentic selves. 𝐓𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞.

Success for us looks like we actually have now: even though we are only a small group as of now, it is a t𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥-𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 that is so inspiring not only for our members, but also for ourselves! We have it all: the fun, the tears, the support and the feeling of being seen and heard for who everyone is.

We might not get the revenue (yet) we wished for when we started, but it still feels nourishing and valuable as it is. 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭.

A word of advice to ourselves? Patience, little Padawans 😉Keep showing up, and everything will start showing up as it is meant to be!
