courtship, dear reader, is an art
Courtship to Conversion, from a Platinum speaker with 10,000+ stores behind her (who is also a VIP here in Classifieds)
If you sell your creations online, whether that is a deck, a book, a candle, a course, or anything your hands and heart have made, I suspect you know this ache.
People find your shop and fall a little in love. They save your posts, they browse your pages, they tell you how beautiful your work is. And then they drift away without buying, and you are left holding all that admiration and none of the sales, wondering what happened between "I love this" and the checkout.
The usual advice says the answer is more. More traffic, more ads, more pushing. But this author has never believed the answer to a trust problem is volume.
Neither has our Platinum speaker Jen Ritchie, and her session at the Soulful Marketing Magic Summit is the antidote: Courtship to Conversion: Turning Quiet Admirers into Buyers
Jen is a Shopify strategist and developer with 18 years of experience, more than 10,000 stores behind her, and over $200M in sales for clients whose products have appeared on Shark Tank, Oprah's Favorite Things, and Walmart shelves. Because she is a developer rather than only a coach, she does something wonderfully practical: she finds exactly where the sale is leaking, and she fixes it.
In her session, she reveals the five quiet places where story and trust go missing in a store, the very spots where an admirer is lost before the sale, and how to court a browser from first glance to a wholehearted yes with story and connection instead of pressure. Selling with grace, as she puts it, and I could not love that phrase more.
Her session joins more than 40 across the Season, all built on the same belief: marketing works better when it treats people like people.
The summit runs August 3 to 10, free to attend, and every session is free to watch through August 7.
The community doors open this Friday, dear reader. Watch this space.
Yours in anticipation, Katya
P.S. Your admirers are not lost, dear reader. They are simply waiting to be courted properly. Jen will show you how.
