Tonight’s mini project

I still have a whole ball of this iCord that I made and I’m trying to use in different things. So I started one of these this morning and finished it this evening and then I quickly made the second one.

The first one is a braided key ring/lanyard. I took the inspiration from

@Kim Thompson-Pinder

. She has a pattern in the VIP section. Mine is a little different though. I used the D-ring, and put a key ring with swivel clasp on the D-ring.

The second one was inspiration I received seeing lanyards made by

@Julie Findleton

. This one is very simple. Nothing fancy like Julie’s. I put a breakaway safety snap on it, in case it gets yanked on. This one is just a quick test. I’ll find a better way to attach the breakaway snap. Many nurses and nurse aids where my partner works can only use lanyards if they have a breakaway snap, because sometimes residents get physical or grab at the workers. (Sadly, dementia and confusion will do that.) He asked if I could make one for him, but I’m not sure he really wants purples. Lol not his favorite color. But I’m sure when I make him one, and if some of the other nurses there see it, they may want one too!
