Sentro 48
So, I've been playing with the Sentro 48 for a couple of weeks now with varying results. Until I took the advice of so many of you. I bought a couple balls of "Pound of Love." WOW! What a difference the right yarn makes! Thanks to all of you for good, solid advice! I made a button scarf (not using the good yarn), but it came out so, so, very long. Then I actually counted the rows (on my two week old machine) and compared that to the row counter of the Sentro 48. I was shocked to see just how far off the numbers are! The row counter said something like 85 rows, but *I* counted 200 rows. No wonder my projects look so wonky! HAHAHA!

Different yarns change a project so much, you may have 2 brands of #4 yarns but they will both knit differently. I didn’t know the importance of that till l came here and learnt about how yarns work in the machines. The yarn reviews were a great help to me.

@Lori Norris you can send Janie a link for your books though DM
Skeins (my response)
It is strongly recommended to wind a skein into a ball (or "cake") just before using it, rather than upon receipt, unless you plan to knit immediately. Keeping the yarn in a skein prevents it from stretching, preserves its original shape, and prevents unwanted knots from forming during storage. Why wait? The tension of the yarn can be altered if it is kept in a ball for too long. Tip: To avoid ending up with a ball that loses its shape, don't wind the yarn too tightly. Use an umbrella (yarn winder) with a ball winder to make a ball.

Excellent advice. Thank you Linda. I love to wind yarn and always used to do it but now I wait.

@Susan Bovair you can sew the cord onto projects, it will stay on longer. There’s a tutorial in the VIP courses on how to make pens with the icord. Go to the classroom and then VIP courses.

Hi hope you are all well and having a lovely day. I wasn’t going to post this until it is finished but I would really appreciate your feedback on this. Obviously nothing is sewn on yet but does this look okay? I may not add her name but that will be depending on time. I woke up full of cold so everything is taking me twice as long 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Oh Crud Bombs!
Not a good knitting day today. First this happens and then I have tried to make this bunny about five times and it’s just not working today. I did manage to get the ears made though.🤣
