Another hat and mittens
Same dark red as the last set but the pompom is slightly lighter in color. I almost gave it a cream color pompom but it didn’t look quite right. I finished the set early this morning after my darn feline furballs woke me up for their breakfast.

Social Crafting Hour Rebooked For Today
I apologize to everyone for not being to make it yesterday. Sometimes my duties as a Pastor's Wife can interfere and unfortunately I wasn't in a place with great internet to be able to come on and tell you personally. I was on yesterday, but might not make it today. The air quality is supposed to get worse, and so is the weather, so we're going out early to get groceries. I might not be back in time, depending how long it takes us.

Birthday yarn haul!!! 🎂🧶😍
I got spoiled with 6 skeins of Caron One Pound and 8 skeins from Herrschners. Now I’m just sitting here touching it, staring at them, trying to decide what these yarn babies want to become. 🤣🧶

Nice haul! I like Herrschner's because it's fairly soft, especially after washing. But I dislike it because every skein of their brand I get always clings to me. Too much static cling!

@Shani King lol That's exactly what I do! The spray bottle was originally to teach my kitten (now 4 yr old cat) to stop scratching up the couch. Now I use it to tame the static. Effective, but I find working with damp yarn annoying as well. But I do agree about the variegated colors! They are very pretty!

Hmmm 🤔 I think I have some gold thread somewhere. I used it once while making a costume about 7 or 8 years ago. Wonder if it’s still any good to use, but if it is, I’ll wind it with green or white!
