What is ONE thing you wish someone had told you when you first started circular machine knitting?

It's taken me ages to get back into a making frame of mind since being away. I managed to get these 2 necklaces put together today. I'm calling them "The End of Summer" 1 and 2, as they are definitely not autumnal colours. I started sorting through my yarns to pull more autumn colours together. I'll definitely make some pumpkins and a possibly a wreath with mini pumpkins and a mix of red, orange and browns for flowers.

I'm still alive. The month of August has been really bad. Sept seems to be getting better. I don't get. In to see my Dr until Oct 1 unless there is a cancelation. I am having breating problems which is causing tiredness and foggy brain. I can concentrate on much of anything.
