Here's mine. 🏆 1. The “I Could Make That on a Knitting Machine” Award Normal person: “That's a pretty mirror.” Me: “I wonder if I could cover it in iCord?” At this point, nothing in my house is safe. If it sits still long enough, there's a reasonable chance I'm going to knit something for it, around it or on it. 😂🧶 🏆 2. The “I Only Need a Few Balls of Yarn” Lifetime Achievement Award A few balls of yarn somehow becomes a cart full of yarn, followed by me explaining that IT'S FOR THE BUSINESS. And if I bought it three years ago and still haven't used it? That's not a stash. That's long-term inventory. 🤣 🏆 3. The “Wait... We Could Sell These!” Award I am apparently incapable of simply making something cute. Somewhere around row 47, my entrepreneur brain kicks in: “How fast could I make these?” “What could I charge?” “Would these sell at a craft show?” Congratulations, cute little knitting project. You are now a product line. 😂💰🧶 🏆 4. The “What Do You Mean I Started Another Project?” Award I haven't abandoned the other projects. They're simply waiting for their turn. Very patiently. In bags. All over the house. 🤣🤣🤣 🏆 5. The “This Escalated Quickly” Award 👑 I learned to knit when I was five. That seems innocent enough. Several decades later there are knitting machines, patterns, courses, YouTube videos, craft shows, a community, an Inner Circle, VIP classes, knitting challenges and apparently now iCord home décor. Some people have hobbies. I apparently require infrastructure. 😂😂😂
