Woke up in an "Old School" mood, so I went with this clone of the vaulted Creed Royal Mayfair. I’ll be honest: this was a blind buy and it is a total acquired taste. The opening is a shotgun blast of Eucalyptus and Pine that straight up smells like a closet full of mothballs. It’s medicinal, sharp, and definitely not a "crowd pleaser." But there’s something addictive about it. Once that "bandage" smell settles, you get this fizzy Gin and Rose vibe that feels like pure royalty. Now I know why it’s a vaulted fragrance. It’s not a "safe" scent, and it definitely isn't popular with the masses. From a business standpoint, it’s probably not worth the shelf space when most people won't "get it." But for a collector, that’s exactly what makes it interesting—it’s weird, it’s sophisticated, and it’s a piece of history that I can’t stop smelling. Anyone else rocking a "vaulted" scent today that the general public would probably hate? 😂
