1991 contributions to Brotherhood Of Scent
Late to the party
But this one arrived today. In honor of the fact it came out in 1995, I connected to the group today using dial up, on my Windows 95 machine that has Elle Macpherson as my wallpaper, listening to my Hootie and the Blowfish CD. 😁

Oh no, I'm hearing the dial-up right now. The horror!
Gary's Den by FOMO (Dior Homme Parfum)
#sotd... Gary's Den by FOMO.... This is a great clone to Dior Homme Parfum... High quality fragrance at an affordable price. Opens with a semi-sweet and semi-fresh with a very faint spiciness. Great overall performance. I went 10 hours before refreshing. Projection is a little more than arms length. I give this a 9 out of 10.

AMong my too many decants/samples. I'm not a fan of the iris-loaded Dior Homme flankers, but this when felt so much approachable and wearable to me. Really liked it, and even considering a bottle down the road to fulfill my lack of elegant, iris scents.
Level 9
Our brother @S May has reached level 9! Congratulations, well deserved.

SOTD: Blockade x Gambit
I’m heading to a Realtor networking event today — a mix of presentations, quick conversations, and a quiz segment I’ll be leading. The vibe I’m going for: composed, confident, and memorable without being overpowering. For that, I’m wearing Blockade layered with Gambit — two fragrances that, within the Mind Games collection, are essentially soulmates. Blockade represents resilience and grounded authority — dark woods, spice, and amber depth that command quiet respect. Gambit, on the other hand, was designed as its natural counterpoint — smooth, charismatic, and strategic. It softens the intensity of Blockade while amplifying its sophistication. Together, they feel like a dialogue between power and poise — the perfect pairing when you want presence without volume. Question for the group: When you’re in a professional or social setting where first impressions matter, do you reach for something dark and grounded like this, or do you prefer to keep things fresh and approachable?

Interesting layering for sure, I see how they may go well with each other. Professional setting? I think I usually go a bit heavier, darker. I can see wearing say, Tony Iommi Moneky Special (the little I have left), or Absolu Aventus, those kinds.
They finally came
Feels like I am the last one to get these. Excited to test them out by wearing them. Tried a spray or two already and I must admit, i sort of agree with @Justin Tillery ’s post of cal cologne, they are nice but not worth the price and nothing special. I will get back to you after a full review though.

This is great, BoS reviews incoming! These caught my attention greatly because of the bottles, love them. But seems things aren't looking very well scent-wise then. Will await your reviews.

40, and digging RMRS content so much. Once you thought you got your things together, you find out that you really knew little. Much to learn.
