Ok. Some of the newer brothers may not know me but I’m “the snob”. I’ve been doing this since the early 1980’s and don’t do sugarcoating or subtle. My own personal opinion is quality over quantity. Anyone can buy a ton of frags while still knowing nothing. Just like I could buy a sniper rifle or maybe more this time appropriate, play very well in an online pvp shooting game. That does not make me knowledgeable or valued. Hopefully we can agree at this point yes? Well this house breaks that mold heavily!!!! For what I consider very little money you can obtain the frags from this house. Cheaper and I would argue much better components and quality than Dua. Now I’m not saying buy them all. I’m saying this frag has depth, smoothness and soul. Does it have “real oud”? Lmao. Absolutely not. Anyone that tells you that they can “smell the oud” in a frag like this is lying both to you and themselves. but that’s a different topic for another day. If you want a warm woody spicy oriental frag for anytime other than summer? Oh. Btw. While it’s raised in price by $50 from when I bought mine and not like most of my FBW frags $100 as of now on Amazon is still cheap af!!! Yes???? Sorry but this is somewhat of a ramble. I'm already feeling apprehensive that my beloved The One EDP, one of the first full bottles I ever got, is going to be discontinued in favor of the sketchy new EDP formulation... so I thought I'd throw some on today to revel in it while I have it! Luckily I bought the 150ml so I can indulge in shhhhpraying it on thick. It's just got this magical opening of light citrus, orange blossom (bless them for whatever they use - I don't get any screech, which I get from most neroli/orange blossom notes), ginger and very light spiciness. There's something powdery sparkly to it - I get the same effect from LNDH EDT - that I absolutely love. The mids are lovely with amber and very light tobacco coming out to give some backbone to the ginger & cardamom. And... we all know the performance on this leaves something to be desired -- it's almost like the mids are the dry-down, and the scent will be gone in a few hours. Which is fine - I'll just throw something else on in the afternoon! I'd like to get my nose on the new EDP & Parfum -- I think that will help me decide if I need to pick up a backup bottle of this formulation of the EDP, or if I should just evolve with the brand and when the time comes, say goodbye to my EDP for good. Anyone else thinking of gettin backup bottles of the OG EDP while they are still widely available?

Thanks @Rich Toczynski for letting us know that it’s international chest day. So for today, I picked ingenious ginger as the scent of the gym. I don’t know why I picked. It just seemed like appropriate to have that fresh ginger pop when you’re getting your SWOLE ON! Fun fact, if you spray ingenius ginger on your chest while doing chest on international chest day, you get double the pump! I don’t know if it’s true, but I know it’s all right!
