SOTD post expectations
I’ve been wondering what the general consensus is from the brotherhood regarding content in a SOTD post. Do you expect a full review with note break down, longevity, etc? Is someone just sharing their scent good enough? I don’t mind either way but there is a category for reviews so that had me wondering? Looking forward to everyone’s thoughts. Have a great day! Edit: Adding a link to a post that Antonio provided as an example of a SOTD post: https://www.skool.com/bos/ottoman-treasure-by-alghabra-parfums-good-example-sotd?p=9e2b92ea

Hmm, I may be mixing my SOTD and reviews together into one unknowingly then. Although it’s also usually the same: I post a review of a sample/decant I went through the day it’s gone… so it kind of is both a SOTD and review post? Anyway, I’m fine with the example from Lon/Antonio. Nothing in depth… what are you wearing, what do you like of it most (notes, profile, etc), why you like it so much and chose it for the day. Anything more, would start going into review territory IMO.
SOTE - D&G The One Parfum
They had it at Macy's tonight, so I swung by to see if I could get a sample. The lady behind the counter has gotten to know me, and I've bought a few things from her over the years, so she takes care of me. They didn't have any samples, but she made me a little decant and let me spray it on pretty heavy to get a sense of how it will wear. I love the EDP, but my biggest complaint is the longevity. The Parfum smells exactly like the EDP, but louder any more heavy on the opening and lighter on the tobacco notes. I've had it on for about 5 hours now, and it's starting to fade to a skin scent, though still fairly present. I'm about to go to bed, so I'll report if it's still there when I get up. EDIT FOLLOWUP: I woke up this morning after about 6 hours of sleep, and it's nowhere to be found. So it did not survive the night on me. So let's call it about 6 to 8 hours of performance in total (5-6 while I was awake, and maybe a few hours while I was asleep). I'm going to wear it again today and see how well it does during the day. My initial impression is that it's redundant. If you have the EDP, then this is extremely similar, but with better performance, though not the beast mode that I think everyone is hoping for. I think the Parfum concentration puts the scent profile into the performance realm that we all wished we got with the EDP, but it doesn't push beyond that. If you don't have either of the previous EDT or EDP versions, then I think the Parfum is the way to go. You'll get decent performance and the same scent profile that everyone loves. But wait for it to go on discounters. Do not be persuaded into buying this for full retail. You will be disappointed when you can get it for 50% off in 3 months time.

From what Ive gathered, it sounds like the 2025 Parfum is an improved 2015 EDP, and the 2025 EDP an improved 2008 EDT. Loved the OG EDP, but the 2025 EDP actually calls to me…
Micallef Red Colorado deal Maxaroma
Been eyeing this one for a while. Finally pulled the trigger 3.4 oz bottle on sale 125.00. After my 10 percent off code and 15 dollars off in Maxaroma points landed this one 99.95 which I think is a steal. Says deal has a couple hours left for the sale.

A Guide To Online Discounters! Stregnths and Weaknesses The Best!!!
I am going to do a comprehensive evaluation of online discounters, including the benefits of each discounter. all have been vetted to assure Authentic Perfumes https://www.fragrancenet.com - Pros: great deals on older designers, Pros: newer designers, you can find them every so often at a good price, not the best price. Cons: I would not search the site for Niche / Indie, as you will never get the best price. https://www.jomashop.com Pros: Here, you will get really great prices on newer designer fragrances and Middle Eastern fragrances. Ok Prices On Niche, but far from the best. Cons: You would need to check the shipping because it can take 2-4 weeks. You better believe it's going to be at the end of the 2-4 weeks. https://ediscountperfumes.com Pros: a lot smaller than the other two shops above, but they do get a great selection of niche, indie, and designers. And usually, when they have enough of it in, you will get the best prices from them. A lot cheaper than the other two. Also in the same category would be Venba. https://fragflex.com Here in the USA and in Canada http://fragrancebuy.ca. Pros: You used to get good deals on European exclusives. Fragrancebuy was the place for European exclusives, but tariffs hit. To make a long story short, they are the same company, and you can find some good deals across the board from Clones designers, Niche, and European exclusives, just not always the best deals, but I have found killer deals every once in a while. They are also very good with the Middle Eastern clone fragrances, and a lot of times will have what others won't. https://www.venbafragrance.com Great site for Niche fragrances specifically, and Great prices also, good prices on Designers, still would not prohibit me from shopping around. This has some of the best Niche Prices in the online space!!!

My main go-to is giftexpress for designer/middle eastern. Thanks for the reviews! It's always good to have guidance.

40, and digging RMRS content so much. Once you thought you got your things together, you find out that you really knew little. Much to learn.
