Today I’m trying Erba Pura from Xerjoff for the first time. I want to first point out this sample bottle? Since @Paul Bartnicki likes to poke fun at my "Cute" Boadicea bottles, I feel compelled to call out the Cuteness of the 15ml Xerjoff bottles as well!! Thanks Paul!! 😎 All kidding aside It’s basically a miniature little Xerjoff bottle complete with the dramatic gold cap. It will definitely look good on my display shelf with the other company that take real pride in their sample packaging. The fragrance inside is pretty enjoyable too. My first impression is very bright and citrusy. It has that energetic freshness I really like in the morning, but it doesn’t stay sharp for very long. As it begins to settle, the citrus softens and I start getting much more of a smooth, fruity sweetness. And so far, I’m liking the balance. It isn’t giving me huge projection or massive sillage, but unlike yesterday’s experiment, I do have a nice scent bubble around me, which is really what I’m looking for most of the time. I don’t "Always" need everyone in the building to know what I’m wearing. Unless my book keeper is around and im looking for the "French Whore" comment 😂 I just want to catch the fragrance myself throughout the day and enjoy it. The feeling I get when I get the random smell from my fragrance throughout the day is what haas always intrigued me and made the hobby what it is to me. I'm not really good at Notes and their descriptions, but how a scent makes me feel is where it is for me in this hobby, and so far this one is hitting the mark for me. Bright and uplifting to start, then sweeter and smoother as it develops. The big plus is now my Cute Boadicea bottles have some classy friends to join them! 😂 We’ll see how the performance holds up as the day goes on, but the first impression is definitely a good one. 😎
