Today, since I'm staying home, I'm wearing a fragrance that I think smells incredible, even if it's not a crowd-pleaser around me: Oud Maracujá by Maison Crivelli. This is a beautiful, divisive scent that blends deep, rich Oud with bright, exotic Passion Fruit, known as Maracujá in Portuguese. The name literally describes the experience: eating passion fruit in an oud forest! Since so many people are curious about the name, and as a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, I recorded how it sounds in the attached file. For those curious, Maracujá is pronounced roughly like: mah-rah-koo-ZHAH. I love this unique contrast! Picked this up not long ago, and I usually reserve the OG for holidays and special occasions. This one is much in the same vein. It’s a little less unisex with some musk and Woods shining through more so than the booze from the original, but it’s pretty redundant if you own the OG. I’m kind of a fanboy, so I wanted both in my collection.
