Wearing my decant I got of MI today on this warm humid day. Love the aquatic salty melon smell of this one’s perfect for these types of days.

This is a refreshed version of the 2007 fragrance. It keeps the fresh profile but simplifies and tweaks the formula for better modern appeal and performance. In the top is a lemon that’s not kitchen cleaner-esque. In the heart is an aromatic rosemary that’s slightly sweet and fresh. And in the base patchouli adds a sensual, creamy depth without going heavy. It leans into the blue fragrance style that’s clean, fresh, and masculine with salty/aquatic undertones mixed with citrus. It’s slightly sweeter/modernized, less aquatic than the original. It's simple and very wearable for daily use especially in warm weather or office/school settings. Performance is the biggest upgrade over the original EDT. This version provides noticeably better staying power of 6-8 hours (or more on clothing). It has decent sillage/projection that works well in heat without being overpowering. Overall it’s a safe, versatile summer staple that’s fresh and clean. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s reliable. The bottle design also got an update which I enjoy. If you’re looking for a spring/summer/fall go to fragrance I highly recommend the new Light Blue.
