How to try fragrances without spending millions? (Warsaw)

I live in Warsaw. It's not a small city, and there are several perfumeries here, including some niche. However, even when trying designer fragrances, the stores often have a limited selection of tester bottles available. And many discovery sets seem to be really expensive for the amount of perfume that they actually include. This makes it particularly difficult to compare fragrances with one another, since often, you will find at most one of a pair. And I happen to have quite a bad memory when it comes to smells or sensations in general (a bit autistic). I am looking to expand my understanding of perfumes in general and discover which ones are the right fit for me. I want to build a very small, versatile collection, which is still optimized for me, and communicates "me" in the most accurate way. Do you guys know any ways for me to try fragrances without having to spend hundreds on decants and discovery sets from the Internet?

This week, I decided to try out my sample vial of Mojave Ghost by Byredo, and it's easy to see why this fragrance has garnered such popularity. From the moment I spritzed it on, the opening notes struck me with a strong and fresh pear scent. It captures the essence of a freshly cut pear—sweet and refreshing—dominating the first couple of minutes. As the fragrance evolves, clean floral notes begin to emerge, beautifully complementing the initial burst of pear. The combination remains pleasant against my skin, with the floral elements enhancing the overall experience. Soon after, a creamy wood and musky note join in, providing a soft depth to the scent while still allowing the pear to shine through, albeit with an added muskiness that develops as the fragrance fades. Performance-wise, Mojave Ghost projects well during the first half hour, offering a noticeable presence. However, after that, the scent draws closer to the skin, becoming more intimate rather than a mass-projecting fragrance. Longevity is a bit lacking for me, as I found that it lasted around four hours with each wear. I believe Mojave Ghost is perfect for a clean office day. It’s an ideal scent for anyone looking to evoke a fresh, polished feeling while navigating through a busy work environment or simply enjoying a leisurely day out. Overall, I would describe Mojave Ghost as having a clean, pretty aroma—perfect for spring and summer. If you are a man who enjoys a blend of clean florals and fruity notes, this fragrance is definitely worth testing out.
