🌑 BOS Weekly Challenge #1 – First Impressions: Dark & Mysterious Edition
October is all about depth - scents that pull people in, not push them away. Fragrances that speak quietly but leave a mark long after you’ve walked off. This week’s challenge: 👉 What’s the one “dark and mysterious” fragrance you’d wear to make a powerful first impression? Think: - That one bottle you reach for when you want to feel confident, grounded, and unforgettable. - The scent that says more about you than words could. 📸 Share a photo or a short story about when you wore it - how it made you feel, and what reaction you got. Let’s see which fragrances in the group truly own the room this October.

Xerjoff 17/17 Richwood parfum
Floral, warm, woody, bit fruity, bit spicy opening It is rich and loud, overwhelming and can be overpowering Leans more feminine.. for me this is fragrance for an older lady Not appropriate for the office but is best for formal occasions Strong projection and sillage Do not overspray, can be headache-inducing when over sprayed Powdery, woody, still floral, bit vanillic, musky, creamy dry down Great longevity.. lasted a 12-hour shift Great overall performance.. this is a beast, attention-grabber Typical Xerjoff bottle with a stone label, heavy golden cap, great atomizer I would recommend Richwood but I am not a big fan.. ⭐⭐⭐ This is a very complex and well-blended scent Classy, sophisticated, elegant fragrance Excellent packaging, great attention to detail

SOTD/Review: Spice & Wood by Creed
Traveling to Boston today and wanted to wear my newly acquired fragrance. The opening is a spicy scent with some mild citrus in the background. At 15 minutes I am starting to pick up on some of the woody notes (Birch). At 30 minutes the spiciness has settled down significantly and I am now getting some fresh woodiness. At 60 minutes "Oh Wow"; the soft woods are amazing and a scent profile that I really enjoy. Also getting a very slight animalic scent coming from the Musk, and some creaminess from the Iris. At the risk of sounding cliche, this fragrance dries down just like its namesake. I am getting a spicy and woody scent profile that is perfectly blended and emmits a scent of elegance and maturity. Performance of this fragrance is moderate. The longevity on my skin is about 4 to 6 hours. The projection is moderate with the fragrance creating a scent bubble of about 2 feet for about 9i0 minutes. Sillage is also moderate with a scent trail of about an arms length for about 90 minutes. I have the Original presentation (250ML) and not the redesigned 100ML bottle.
