SOTD: Allure Homme Sport edt by Chanel 30/04/2026
This is a modern classic, one of the higher end sport fragrances that was released in 2004.Crafted by the legendary master perfumer Jacques Polge. Unlike many sport fragrances of its era that relied on harsh synthetic notes, Allure Homme Sport introduced a sophisticated "Woody Spicy" profile that feels both professional and casual, making it a cornerstone of masculine perfumery for over two decades. It begins with a brilliant, airy opening of Italian mandarin orange, amplified by crisp aldehydes and a refreshing aquatic accord that mimics a bracing sea breeze. As the fragrance transitions into the heart, a blend of cedar & neroli emerges, with a slight masculine edge from the black pepper. The true magic, however, lies in the base; here, the composition settles into a creamy trail of white musk, tonka bean & amber. This "creamy citrus" signature is what sets the EDT apart, as the sweetness of the tonka bean perfectly balances the sharp zest of the opening, resulting in a smooth, high-quality finish that smells exceptionally clean. The EDT is a reliable performer for a fresh fragrance, you can expect 6hrs of longevity on the skin. Its projection is moderate, strong enough to be noticed within an arm's length for the first two hours without becoming cloying or intrusive. This balance makes it incredibly versatile; while it is at its absolute best during the spring and summer months due to its citrus profile, it is a "dumb reach" for almost any occasion. Whether you are at the gym, in an office meeting, or on a casual weekend date, guaranteed you smell polished and invigorated throughout the day. My Rating 7.5/10 Scent 2.5 Longevity 2 Sillage 2 Y/N 1

Animalic fragrances
So I've smelled a bunch of PDM and Initio fragrances and I've realized that both that PDM and Initio, both have some animalic ronea, but none are overpowering and leave a nice, slightly animalic and not super aggressive notes. I think that these are absolutely divine! The castoreum in Absolute Aphrodisiac, the civet in Layton Exclusif and the animals musk in Blessed Baraka just really speak to me. Coming into spring. I think that

Premiering Lattafa: Maahir Legacy
I’ve have had this one in my collection for ages, but I haven’t gave it a full wear until today. I haven’t been too interested on it because it’s a freshie (note my favorite profile); an alternative to Parfums de Marly Sedley. It has a very enjoyable profile and got me compliments. It opens very fresh, citrusy, minty and herbal. The dry down evolves to a more diffusive and airy light citrusy, mossy, a bit sweeter scent. The projection and longevity are average to the lighter site, even over spraying it. It will need reapplication after 4-5hrs, if you want to be noticed.
