We all like compliments, but what's the worst comment you have heard, about a fragrance that you like?

One of my favorite layering combinations for winter especially. Guerlain, especially the fragrances by my wif- I mean uh, favorite perfumer, Delphine Jelk, can layer really well together, but there’s one in particular that just… meshes together. Take two types of wealth, one with Cuban cigars, gold watches, and blood red sunglasses, and take the other, a Marlboro six pack smoking, black overcoat wearing, criminal hunting little beast, smash em together, and what do you get? This gem. I’m talking two Guerlain masterpieces, Santal Pao Rosa from the L’Art line, and a newer release, Tabac Sahara. Sahara is this smoky, golden, red berry, rose, and raspberry fragrance, and while it does smell amazing on its own, I feel like it’s missing a core of something heavier, such as oud or leather. And that’s where Santal Pao Rosa comes in handy. This is a heavy, smoky, rich blend of sandalwood, myrrh, and oud, and provides that needed base to properly anchor Tabac Sahara, while Tabac Sahara gives it a sparkling, golden lift. Both fragrances share a core of jammy, rich rose oil which helps them match and click together rather well. It provides a bridge from the tart, red berry opening, while the tobacco blends seamlessly with the myrrh and oud in Pao Rosa. Both are quite intense, but start with Pao Rosa first, and let it sit before applying Tabac Sahara. This one turns heads!
