This weekend, I had the chance to try out my mini bottle of White Suede by Tom Ford, and I wanted to share my thoughts after wearing it for a couple of days. Upon first spritz, you are immediately greeted with a vibrant green and floral scent. The opening is refreshingly bright, reminiscent of a light, herbal tea with delicate floral notes. After about five minutes, a clean musky undertone emerges, evoking memories of fresh white sheets at a luxurious hotel. At this stage, I couldn't help but notice a striking similarity to "Lazy Sunday Morning" by Maison Martin Margiela. As the fragrance develops, I began to detect a subtle leather note around the one-hour mark. It's quite faint and only noticeable when you bring your nose close to your skinâdefinitely one of the more understated leather notes I've come across. In terms of performance, White Suede projects nicely for the first hour. However, it quickly settles close to the skin afterward. While it may not be a strong projector post the initial hour, it does boast impressive longevity and can be detected well beyond the seven-hour mark. Overall, I believe White Suede offers a delightful, clean aroma thatâs perfect for office wear or simply lounging at home with a loved one. It's a versatile scent that radiates freshness and comfort, making it a great addition to any fragrance collection.
