Going out strong today thanks to @Steve Louis and bringing it to PT, Bloodwork, the store then my kitchen and tv. He said start with one spray and I did and maybe it’s my warped sense of smell but I’m loving this. I get the earthiness out the gate followed by the musk. To quote Ron Burgundy, “it stings the nostrils in a good way.” A fragrance for the confident and uncompromised, Complex is a blend of resins, incense and sensuous musk. Earthy and sensuous, it is filed with herbal notes of basil and sage, which give away to raw leather and animalistic notes. It is unusual and different – violet, incense – all this contribute to this sexy perfume.

This wonderful fragrance starts brighter than you’d expect, with a crisp pop of bitter orange and grapefruit that cuts right through the richness. There’s a fresh, green aromatic layer underneath that keeps things lifted and prevents them from becoming overly sweet. As it evolves, warm spices and herbs ease their way in, creating a smooth, well-blended heart without any harsh edges. But it’s the drydown that really hooks me. The myrrh and benzoin slowly melt into a soft vanilla, cushioned by dry woods and a gentle musk. It’s plush, calm, and quietly addictive. That slow transition from spicy to resinous to creamy is precisely what keeps me coming back. It wears like a cozy, refined hug on the skin, subtle, satisfying, and effortlessly elegant.
