Amouage’s King Blue is famous (notorious?) for its unique funk and fruit combination, the former surging out of the starting gate while the latter overtakes it on down the track, as well its for its “beast-mode” performance which rivals Megamare. But it has another talent I discovered only after extensive research. Not my research, mind you, but the research of hundreds of thousands of calculations by Anthropic’s Claude. This research would’ve taken me probably three working weeks. Claude did it in 20 minutes. What was it? Since I suffer from warm-weather allergies, my fragrance collection is severely diminished during the summer months. I needed Claude to find out which of my collection were the safest, that is, which contained the fewest allergens. Counterintuitively I discovered that King Blue came in fourth, far better than many others in my collection I would’ve thought safer.
