Chicago doing what Chicago does best… yesterday we were in the 70s, today we right back in the 40s. Not exactly my preference, but the sun is shining and that makes all the difference. A beautiful reminder that no matter the temperature, there is always something to be grateful for.

This morning is especially meaningful as I prepare for worship. Even more of a blessing, I had an amazing time with my son, his wife, and my grandsons, and we are all heading to worship together. Moments like that are truly priceless and never to be taken for granted.

My scent of the day is Grand Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. This house holds a special place in my journey as one of the early introductions into niche with BR540, which I’ve since moved on from. But Grand Soir… this one still stands tall. A rich blend of sweet, resinous, and aromatic warmth that wraps around you like a well-tailored coat. Perfect for a crisp morning like this.
