Rayhaan Tiger Cal Cologne Edition
Nice weather today, so I went with Rayhaan Tiger Cal Cologne Edition. It opens with sharp grapefruit, bergamot, cardamom, saffron, and green cypress, then moves into a warm heart of rose, nutmeg, and jasmine. The drydown settles into agarwood, cedar, leather, sandalwood, amber, tonka, vanilla, and musk, giving it a rich, spicy-woody finish. I took it with me to Bloomingdale’s to test out some other fragrances, but Tiger held its own the whole time and felt perfect for the day.

SOTD: Gentleman EDP Boisée Givenchy
Good morning Frag Fam and happy Tuesday. Waking up with purpose always feels a little sweeter when the community is right here moving with the same passion and energy. I hope your day starts smooth, your spirit feels light and your scent sets the tone for everything you plan to conquer today. Today’s wear is Gentleman Eau de Parfum Boisée by Givenchy, one of the very small handful of designer fragrances I actually keep in my rotation. Every time I revisit it, I’m reminded why it earned its place. The opening brings that warm, spicy woods vibe that feels both polished and grounded, never trying too hard but still making its presence known. As it settles, the cacao and cedar start doing this soft, creamy dance that gives the fragrance a quietly masculine confidence. For a designer scent, the performance holds its own impressively well, with good sillage and projection that carries you through the day without ever shouting. It feels dependable, approachable and well put together. Overall, Gentleman Eau de Parfum Boisée lands at a solid 7.2, a fragrance that earns respect through balance and comfort rather than flash.

I am running out of room especially on my niche shelf. I really need to sell or trade these Bonds and Creeds. Still thankful for every bottle especially some very special gifts I got from my Brother @Paul Bartnicki. It’s amazing mind boggling even how we have basically become family in such a short time I wouldn’t have it any other way. Any recommendations are welcome beyond giving away frags lol.

SOTD - Pantheon R by Pantheon Roma (WTH!!!)
What’s up, my fellow scent seekers!? Finishing off a decant of “Pantheon R” from the house Pantheon Roma, courtesy of a recent MaxAroma haul. This bad boy falls into the Oriental Woody camp, launched in 2021 by perfumer Arturetto Landi, and… yeah, there’s a lot happening here. This is my second wear and I’m torn. Have you ever smelled something so bonkers you don’t know whether to hug it or run screaming into the night? That’s exactly where I’m at. Before even peeking at the note list, all I can think of is spray paint, punchy, potent, slightly sweet, with a lacquer and smoky incense vibe. Turns out what smells like paint to me is somehow a mix of strawberry and rhubarb which kinda explains the weird sweet chemical energy. The base is woody and holds everything together for a bit of sanity. But bros… picture this, me, standing in a grimy Venice Beach alleyway, huffing paint next to some wild eyed crackhead lighting incense. Glorious right?! LOL. My brain’s screaming “STOP HUFFING PAINT,” but my nose thinks it’s in ecstasy. Checked out reviews on Fragrantica and people are losing their minds over this stuff. So what gives? Is my schnoz busted? Or am I just riding high on fumes from overpriced spray-paint? Again, not sure if i love it or hate it.. IM SO CONFUSED. Alright fam give me your thoughts. What’s your experience with Pantheon R? Let’s get this fragrance chat rolling!!! Top: Strawberry, Cinnamon, Rhubarb and Thyme Mid: Saffron, Iris and Jasmine Base: Leather, Incense, Myrhh, Gurjan balsam, Vanilla, Tolu Balsam, Agarwood (Oud), Sandalwood, Ambergris, Labdanum and Musk

Mail Call (Saturday/Monday)
I've been on pins and needles watching for updates on my parcels. Stalking deliveries online to avoid a repeat of my parcel being taken. On Saturday, I received 17-ml decants from Scent Rush for Roja Amber Aoud and Amouage Interlude 53 (second decant). Today, I received Isola Blu Parfum (Roja) and Mango Ice (Gulf Orchid). No, it's not a hoax. I bought another clone out of curiosity. The plan is to pass this to my nephew when he visits after Christmas.
