SOTD: Athena+ by ATH and Siver Oudh Attar by Amouage

Good Morning Brotherhood another strange weather day in the Chi cloudy skies and temperatures hovering in the mid 50s, but if you’ve lived here long enough you learn to adapt and keep moving. Yesterday was extremely difficult work wise, but perseverance is part of the journey and by the Creator’s grace here we are facing a brand new day ready for whatever comes next.

For my scent of the day I wanted to wear something new to me after recently picking it up on the grey market, but I was also in the mood for some Oud from my collection. I couldn’t decide between the two so I decided to layer them and honestly it turned out phenomenal.

Today’s combination is Athena+ by Aaron Terence Hughes layered with Silver Oudh by Amouage, a long discontinued gem from the house. Together they create this rich blend of sweetness, fruit, resins, woods, and animalic depth that completely embodies everything I love about perfumery.

Since this is a layering combination I won’t give it an official rating, but just know the projection, sillage, and overall performance are absolutely monstrous today.
