Another new one to my nose. Shout out to my Brother for sending me a sample of this fragrance. Bergamask has an opening that is a blast of what I can only describe as a dirty citrus accord. I am not sure what is causing the dirty smell since the top notes are Bergamot and Lemon. However, this unique smell is in the Orto Parisi style. At 15 minutes some of the pungency of the scent has settled and I am starting to pick up on the floral notes. At 30 minutes the fragrance continues to transition and we are now starting to move into the base notes. Getting a little animalic scent from the Musk note. I am starting to think that the dirtyness at the opening was the Musk note coming out at the beginning of the fragrance wear even though it is a base note. The dry down of this fragrance is incredible. The transition from opening to final dry down is simply impressive. At dry down I am getting some sweetness sitting a top a woody base, with an animalic essence across the entire scent.
Performance of this fragrance is very good. Longevitt is 8+ hours and the projection was 2+ feet for about 2 hours. Sillage is 3+ feet for over 2 hours.
