As I explained yesterday, I was looking through the Guerlain website trying to figure out what samples I wanted to get as I wanted to explore this line. Only to find out my wife and fellow collector who has been down the Guerlain rabbit hole for a while had almost all the ones I wanted to try. 😎

So naturally I went "Shopping" through her Guerlain bottles.

Today is the Iris Pallida Extrait.

This is a really nice musky floral. Starts off with a bit of spice and settles right into what I would describe as a nice summer day scent.

There is a calmness that the woody notes bring to this in the dry down. My biggest (Work) critic actually gave me a compliment 😎. Not to mention my wife (but she has to like it) its hers after all 😜. But I have also received some random compliments as well from some of my staff.

I was at the tailor earlier and the receptionist walked by my dressing room and said "Jeff is that you smelling so good"!!

I will be making myself a 10ml decant of this for sure!!
