Newest acquisition Hero Elixer by Burberry

This one was a pleasant surprise for sure. I am a big fan of this line as the EDP was one of the OG fragrances in my collection and Mr. Burberry and Mr. Burberry indigo were two fragrances that spawned my interest in the hobby after being more or less scent free for about 20 years when I was a school teacher.

If you know the line at all famous for being a cedar bomb, although I tend to get a sarsaparilla or root beer note in it that I find very pleasant.

This one has both of those things as well as a very nice leather note. In fact, I got a compliment from my wife about 5 minutes after applying it and she dislikes leather notes these days and even didn't like this one when I tried it on strip.

Is this a must buy if you have any of the other ones, maybe it is different enough to add some uniqueness across some of the other flankers, it very classically masculine leaning and maybe a bit much for daily wear, but everyone is different so I would say try it on skin as it sang off my skin in ways it didn't on strip.

I have collected the whole line and I think it's EDP and then this one for sure, of you only were getting two although the recency bias is real so 🤷🏼
