It started for me with Mr. Burberry after three samples that included Mr. Burberry indigo where my go-to for special occasions as I work in a scent free organization for many years. From there my next purchases would have been Burberry Hero EDP and Rabanne Victory Elixir followed Hero Parfum and JPG Scandal EDT and Givenchy Gentlemen Intense EDT. Next would have been Tom Ford's Black Orchid and then after that Montblanc Explorer and Montblanc Explorer Platinum in one go. I think it was at that point when I realized I was a collector and the rest is history. I only really seriously started collecting seriously in February - March of this year and have built up a pretty substantial collection and burned through quite a bit of disposable income. No regrets. Probably getting pretty close to 100 separate bottles not counting samples. If I am being really honest. I think I caught the bug the first time I got a sample at a department store of Sauvage Elixir way back when. How about you all? Would be curious to hear your origin stories as well.

Welp… today I went to my local niche spot to try out some Zaharoff and maybe get some samples but you know how it goes when you’re overwhelmed with amazing fragrances surrounding you.. I DID get my nose on Signature Seraphim Blue which is FIRE btw… but walked out with a couple bangers that I had to have. Oriental Orchid by Rirana Parfume, and Black Influence by an Indy house called SÜS-SKÏND. Can’t wait to give them a full wear and share my thoughts. Oh yes and stopped Burlington too. 😂 picked these bad boys up. Can’t beat 12.99 for some good Grab and Go frags. It’s a dreary start to the day on the bayou, have a meeting this morning followed by an all sales conference call. Hopefully the rain does go away as I’m supposed to visit two job sites today. That being said, I forgot I had this in my samples and felt that the accords matched the weather and overall feel with the woody strength followed by the spices.

I just walked into to my Sephora. Bought the 14 piece sample pack for 98 dollars and with a voucher for a free bottle of whatever is in sample set. I left with the 1.7oz bottle of the new scent Burberry Hero Parfum Intense for free. Terrific promotion. You can leave with a full size bottle of what ever is in the sample pack. The sales lady said she can’t believe it. They have it marked at 171.00 dollars currently.
