你可能需要閱讀三到四次才能完全理解文章,這是完全正常的。
- 第一次:Forget about the new vocabulary. Skip it. Simply get the general idea, about 60% of the article. If you can’t get 60%, read again.
- 第二次:Once you are at 60%, figure out its main argument - what is one sentence that the writer would use to make his point?
- 第三次:Now you can look up new words you don’t know - compare the definitions to what you thought they were. You might have been right from the beginning!
- 第四次:Start to develop your own opinion - your personal take, observation, (dis)agreement, solution or feelings.
- Read more if you have to. Repeating doesn’t mean you are stupid.

- 同學很有可能會問單字,所以準備同時請問自己:我能用現有的單字去解釋這個新詞嗎?對方如果是高中生,能懂嗎?避免用難字去解釋難字的無底洞深淵,這種單字沙拉是「很會說」的假象。
- 以轉述的口吻給同學,像是:Look what I just found out today! Let me show you.,加入你的「種子」,這是你的結晶,最後再接受提問。
- 課堂會有老師和其他學生的回饋,讓你得利器後,下次繼續戰鬥
- 報告以簡單明瞭的呈現即可,團班不是平面設計的比賽,重點是你說的話。
