Hello hello hello!
Hi everyone😆 This is Lai, I’m very happy to be here! I have read some of your introductions and it’s super cool to see people living in all different places👀 I’m an animator. I really love animation so I started to make animation myself! Started from stop motion to 2D stickman animation, and finally 3D animation made on my PC. Crafting these are FUN! I usually play guitar and piano in my free time, but I spend good amounts of time on watching Vtubers lately. I would like to improve my English skill so I can connect with other fans around the world. Please bear with my writing flaws, I am still trying to sharpen my skills on that😆 Nice to meet you all! Hope everyone who sees this have a great great day❤️

In my area, I’ve seen people playing mahjong at Panera Bread, and our library also has been hosting weekly mahjong meetups for a couple years. 每次看到都想加入,但好像規則不太一樣,怕被美國人電😆
✏️ think something through 造句【think 系列】
介系詞是英文裡最奧妙的一環,像是配件一樣能完全改變句子的樣貌。 Think something through 表示去徹底考慮、想透、想清楚。有時有悔意、怪罪的語氣。 🗣️ 例如 I didn't think it through when I bought the EV. (我買電動車時沒有想清楚。) Didn't you think it through before moving to the suburbs? ⬇️

She got grounded because she didn’t think it through and missed her curfew.
Self-Introduction
Hi everyone! I’m Chieh-Yi, originally from Taipei, and I’ve been living in Massachusetts for over 10 years. I’m currently working for a pharmaceutical company to improve their commercial data quality. I found Teacher Bannai’s Instagram about a year ago and have been loving it since then. A lot of content is super relatable. Fun fact: I recently trained my 15-year cat like Pavlov’s dog using a dry food dispenser. Now she sprints to the feeder like an F1 race car the second the food drops.

@Karen Wang Nice to meet you here virtually, and Happy New Year! I was back in Taiwan last week and didn’t see your comment until yesterday. I would say the most difficult thing is staying awake during repetitive work caused by data discrepancies from different data providers. 🥱
Self-Introduction
Hi everyone here! I'm Quinna, borned in Taipei and live in Taipei for my life. I'm a HR after graduating. Actually, I want to go to Netherlands for the working holiday. This is my dream. so I need to also have to practice English more to be flent. Fun fact: Quinn was my name made by the teacher from my elementary school. I felt kind of embarrassment when introducing my name. This name was also difficult to pronounce for some people because of the monosyllable. Then guess what? I changed my name from Quinn to Quinna. I like Quinna better and never feel awkward anymore. Moreover, I had never shared the same name to anyone surrounding me!!

Hi Quinna. What a great name change. It’s so clever how simply appending an A to the original name makes such a difference.

@Jiun-Ru Chiang This is so true that English names represent certain generations, ethnicities, etc. I used to work at a U.S. semiconductor company where many Asian expats came for training. Unlike Japanese, Singaporean, and Chinese expats who still used their original names, Taiwanese expats tended to use an English name. One day, my American coworkers in their 50s came to me and commented those Taiwanese expats’ English names reminded them of grandparents’ names from before WWII. They were only in their 20s!! 😂😂😂
