Day 27 - What habits or products will you keep after this challenge?
We’re one day away from wrapping up our Sweets with Intention challenge. 🥳 Take a moment today to celebrate how far you’ve come — the mindful choices, the gentle pauses before reaching for sweets, and the experiments that helped you tune into what you really want. 👉 Today’s prompt: 💬 What habits or products will you keep using after this challenge? Maybe it’s checking in with your body before grabbing a treat, or keeping fruit prepped and ready. Maybe you found a new tea, a fun mocktail, or even a bakery you actually savor (instead of rushing through). Drop it below! Let’s build each other’s toolkit — so we all walk away from this with lasting ideas. 💡 Remember, this isn’t about never having sweets again. It’s about enjoying them on your terms, with joy and intention. 💖 Can’t wait to celebrate your wins tomorrow. 🎂✨
🎉 Day 28 — We did it! 🎉
Just like that, our Sweets with Intention challenge comes to a close. I’m honestly SO proud of each of you for showing up, reflecting, trying new things, and sharing your journeys so openly over these past 28 days. 💖 Together, we: ✨ Paused before reaching for sweets and asked, “what do I really want right now?” ✨ Swapped some treats for fruit (and sometimes fruit + dark chocolate, hello balance!) ✨ Discovered how often a craving was really just thirst. ✨ Let go of guilt and learned to savor dessert with joy. ✨ Tuned into hunger vs. habit, and noticed how good that feels. Special shout-outs to: 💬 @Sarah Boomgaarden for how honestly you explored binge patterns and built more calm around sweets. 💬 @Julie Brizard for swapping mindless chocolate grabs for thoughtful check-ins. 💬 @Sarah Allen for discovering that certain "health" foods like a yogurt cup has hidden sugars that don't make us feel great. 💬 @Nandi Welch for enjoying a savory snack such as guacamole, tortilla chips, trail mix versus a high sugar sweet. 💬 @Deb Parkins for eating healthier sweet choices to curb her sweet cravings such as enjoying a no sugar added vanilla yogurt with clementine tangerines, vanilla chai hot tea, sugar-free candy and focusing on whole foods. 💬 @Marieke Levitus for learning when she craves sweets and trying her best to manage her emotions. These might seem like small shifts, but they’re actually huge — they lay the groundwork for a relationship with food that’s based on trust and real enjoyment. 🌷 💫 CHALLENGE Up Next: Balanced Plates! Starting next week, we’re rolling into our next challenge: Building Balanced Plates. We’ll explore how to put together meals that fuel you, satisfy you, and work with your body — all while keeping it simple and delicious. Can’t wait to see you there!
Day 26 - What's a mindset shift you've had around sweets?
Let’s reflect for a moment. We’re almost at the end of the challenge, and I want you to think back to where you started. How did sweets make you feel? What beliefs did you carry about them? What were you afraid of? Now ask yourself this: What’s a mindset shift you’ve had since then? 👉 Maybe you’ve realized that sweets aren’t “bad”—they just need boundaries. 👉 Maybe you’ve let go of the guilt after enjoying dessert. 👉 Or maybe you’ve started eating sweets with more presence, rather than autopilot. There’s no right or wrong here—only growth. 🎯 Drop a quick post below and share: - The old belief or behavior - The new way you’re thinking about sweets now - How it feels different Let’s celebrate your progress together 💬👇
Day 23 – Shape Your Environment for Success
🧠🍫 Your surroundings matter more than willpower. Today, take a few minutes to set up your space in a way that supports your goals and reduces the daily mental tug-of-war with sweets. ✨ Did you move the candy jar out of sight? Organize your snacks so nourishing options come first? Clear the counter clutter? Big or small — any change is a win. 🔁 Share what you shifted today. How did it feel to make your space more aligned with your intentions?
🍫 Day 15 – Eat a Sweet Treat Slowly and Without Distractions 🍓
Today’s practice is about presence. We’re not avoiding sweets — we’re leaning into them with awareness. Your challenge today is to enjoy a sweet treat slowly, mindfully, and without distractions (yes, that means putting your phone down and turning off the TV 😉). ✨ Here’s why this matters: When we eat on autopilot, it’s easy to miss the moment — and miss our body’s signals. But when we slow down and truly taste our food, something shifts. You might realize you’re satisfied with less. Or that you enjoy the first few bites most. Or that the craving was more about comfort than the food itself. 🍓 Today’s experiment: Choose one sweet treat you love. Sit down with it. No screens, no scrolling. Just you and the food. Notice the texture, the flavor, how your body feels before, during, and after. 💬 Let’s reflect: What did you notice when you slowed down? Did it taste better? Was it harder or easier than you thought? Drop your reflections in the comments — your experience could help someone else notice something new too 👇
