Testimonials & Experiences (21 Day Reset | SOMA Breath | A.D. Meditation)
Hey guys I appreciate your patience with this new endeavor. Here's a space for us to talk about our experiences with my 21 day reset, meditation program and then SOMA breath (which I didn't create). You can comment with a testimony, your experience, what went well, what didn't, or even feedback or questions for guidance. Thanks! I'll probably also think of some weekly challenges we can do collectively. --- So let me go first. As many of you know, I’ve been practicing Kriya Yoga and meditation for a couple of years now. What I’ve always loved about Kriya is how simple the techniques are — yet how directly they work with energy. That’s why Yogananda called it the “airplane route to God.” It’s efficient. It’s powerful. It’s focused. I’ve also been practicing pranayama and breathwork consistently during that time. Because of that, the 21-Day Reset is actually more beginner to intermediate for me — but still extremely effective, even as an advanced meditator. Personally, I use it throughout my day as part of my regulation practice. I work in home health care, so I might do one exercise (about 7 minutes) between patients, or I’ll do the full 21 minutes on a break. It’s an incredible way to ground yourself, direct your mind, and calm your nervous system in real time. As far as SOMA Breath — it’s the best modality I’ve experienced for a premium somatic bliss state. It’s amazing. The combination of visualization, chanting, and breathwork really amplifies hormonal expression in the body. It’s a full-body experience. Truly. But it does take practice — especially the breath holds — which is why the 21-Day Reset is such a great preparation tool. Regarding my meditation program, I can only really speak to the Kriya path. I teach it in a very practical way (because in my opinion, some of Yogananda’s organizations can be a bit too rigid). Kriya is incredibly powerful and beautifully simple. That said — I do think it requires maturity. The energetic shifts can be strong. For someone younger, or someone without grounding and clarity, it could be overwhelming if not integrated properly. Energy practices aren’t a toy.

ATTAINING CLARITY — Aiming Your Consciousness With Your Dragon Bow 🐉
Hey guys. I want to talk briefly today about clarity. Clarity is what you have when you have direction. When things make sense… or even when they don’t make sense — but you know how to handle yourself anyway. You know how to direct yourself. How to respond. How to posture yourself internally. I spent most of my life hopelessly confused 🤣 so I’m actually qualified to speak on this. If you want clarity, you must focus on energy. You must develop intuition. And the only way you do that… is by clearing your mind. --- Why Most People Stay Confused ⚡ Early in our spiritual journey, we’re constantly looking outside ourselves for validation. We obsess over the future. We wrestle with the past. Our mind bounces around like a pinball machine. And meanwhile… the actual present experience becomes secondary. We feel emotions — but we don’t truly listen to them. Instead, we reason through the ego. Through the part of us chasing dopamine highs. Driven by sexual energy. Driven by lower chakra insecurity. Trying to build confidence, control, identity. Here’s the hard truth: None of that produces clarity. It produces stimulation. It produces distraction. It produces suffering. And it delays your evolution. --- “Meditation Isn’t for Me” — Really? 😄 I hear people say, “Meditation isn’t for me.” I always find that funny. Everybody meditates on something LOL. If you’re obsessing over drama, money, validation, relationships — congratulations. You’re meditating. The issue isn’t whether you meditate. The issue is what you meditate on. Now maybe you’re a single mom raising kids. Maybe your schedule is chaos. Maybe sitting for 45 minutes in silence sounds impossible. Fine. Then practice: Present awareness. Somatic awareness. Mindfulness while washing dishes. Mindfulness while driving. These are meditative principles you can apply all day long. Yes, seated practice allows you to go deeper because distractions are reduced and attention turns inward. But if your life doesn’t allow that yet?

Meditation LITERALLY CHANGES YOUR BRAIN — Science Says So 😁
Hi everyone! For years people have said meditation “calms the mind.” That’s nice. But new neuroscience suggests something far more powerful: Meditation reshapes brain activity. Not metaphorically. Literally. And I know, but I've experienced this firsthand. The brain I have today is 90% different than the one I had two years ago 😶‍🌫️. According to a recent report from ScienceAlert (Feb 7, 2026), researchers used high-resolution magnetoencephalography (MEG) and machine learning to study experienced monks — some with over 15,000 hours of meditation practice — and found measurable shifts in neural dynamics. (Source: sciencealert.com/meditation-can-reshape-your-brain-activity-study-reveals) --- 🧠 The Brain’s Sweet Spot: “Criticality” The study suggests meditation helps move the brain toward something called criticality. This is a term borrowed from physics. It describes the ideal balance between chaos and order in neural activity. Too chaotic → scattered thinking. Too rigid → inflexible processing. Criticality is the sweet spot. When the brain sits there, it becomes: • More adaptable • More efficient • Better at learning • Faster at responding Meditation appears to nudge the brain toward that optimal zone. --- 🔦 Two Practices — Two Neural Effects Researchers studied two classic Buddhist techniques: Samatha — focused attention (like narrowing a flashlight beam). Result: stable, concentrated brain states. Vipassana — open awareness (widening the beam). Result: brain activity closer to criticality. In simple terms: Focused meditation stabilizes you. Open awareness optimizes you. --- 🌊 Meditation Doesn’t Shut the Brain Off Interestingly, gamma oscillations — often associated with external stimulus processing — decreased. Translation? Less outward noise. More inward clarity. And here’s something even more fascinating: The most experienced meditators showed less difference between resting brain states and meditative states.

JOYFUL ALL THE TIME: TRANSFORMING YOUR MIND FOR JOY 🐉
Hey guys. This has to be said. I’ve been meditating consistently for about two years now… and the transformation has been ridiculous. Just ask my wife 🙊 I’m not exaggerating. I want to briefly talk about the art of being joyful — not occasionally — but consistently. Because yes… I really believe we are here to wake up. We are souls experiencing contrast. Formerly simple and ignorant souls learning through experience, integrating knowledge, relinquishing karmic attachments, growing through friction. It takes wisdom. It takes experience. It takes humility. But joy is not accidental. It is cultivated. --- --- THE THREE STEPS TO REAL JOY ✨ If we truly want to be joyful, we must integrate three things — in order. 1. Awareness 2. Wisdom 3. Meditation You can’t skip steps. --- --- 1. AWARENESS — 👁️ --- First, you must look within. Basic self-awareness. What patterns are causing your suffering? What triggers keep repeating? Where are you running? If you are avoiding your inner world, I hate to say it… but you will never be truly happy. Joy requires honesty. It requires looking at the shadow without flinching. Awareness is the doorway. --- --- 2. WISDOM — 📖 --- Secondly, you must know where to look. Wisdom is essential. There are incredible spiritual teachers who have walked before us. Why suffer more than you have to? Learn from experience — yours and others’. What I’ve learned on this journey is that we’re running the race together. I’m running a race to help you. You’re running a race to help me. Seek wisdom. Be inquisitive. Map your inner world. Wisdom gives direction to awareness. --- --- 3. MEDITATION — 🧘‍♂️ --- Meditate on Divine qualities and transform your mind. No joke. Every single moment of your life becomes a decision. Will you focus on the sacred qualities? Love. Light. Wisdom. Joy. Peace. Power. Calmness. Sacred Sound. These Divine qualities are not abstract concepts. They are energies. Meditation begins on the cushion.
