Helping with a Motive!
Section 2 of the Awakening Assessment just showed me that my "helper" identity isn't kindness - it's a strategy I built as a child to over-give and create indebtedness so no one could criticize me. When asked who I'd be without the mask, I literally couldn't picture her. Turns out she's been waiting the whole time.
