Managing my energy and adrenaline levels — I’m noticing I need to be more intentional about pacing myself and taking breaks during the day.
🌙 Wind-down pattern I noticed:
After the gym I started to feel the physical effects and realised my energy had dropped. I had planned to do some work in the evening but I slowed down and ended up taking a nap. Later I got some great news that a family member had a baby, which was a nice moment before going to bed.
🌅 Morning pattern I noticed:
I woke up around 6am feeling fairly good. One thing I noticed was that it was already light outside, which gave the morning a lighter feeling. I had a cool shower which helped me feel refreshed.
🔁 I decided not to close my open loop:
Because I realised I needed to give myself space to recover and think more clearly rather than forcing productivity.
💭 And it made me feel:
More relaxed and aware of what my body actually needed instead of pushing through tiredness.
🤯 What surprised me:
How much my body and nervous system respond to physical activity, rest, and light. I’m starting to see that managing my energy properly is key for consistency.
