Calming my nervous system is the first step to feeling well
Just completed Day 1 and the task of identifying an open loop which is an email that I must respond to. I feel greatly encouraged by understanding that it is just the way my brain works currently that causes the difficulty in completing important tasks without getting distracted or procrastinating, and that it is possible to rewire those neural networks. Also good to know that by taking the tiniest step in the right direction is still progress because I am training my nervous system to feel safe and therefore that I can learn to become more effective in a way that feels achievable without the usual underlying stress or negative feelings that come up to block me.
